He is an actor of American, Swedish and Finnish ancestry. He is the son of Sofia Herrgård and Carl Larsson. Sam has attended Calle Flygare drama school, Stockholm's boys' choir and BASE23 - Stockholm Dance Academy.
Sam had an early interest in acting, began going to castings on his own initiative and started performing professionally at a very young age, performing in commercials, several short dramatic films, theater, opera and television series.
