Born on February 5, 1994 in Guadalajara, Mexico, Antonio Briseño is named after his father Antonio Briseño and is the son of his mother Adriana Vázquez. Antonio, nicknamed Pollo, plays as a defender for one of Mexico's most legendary teams, Club Deportivo Guadalajara, also known as Chivas. After a European stint with a first-division professional Portugal football team, C.D. Feirense, he returned to Guadalajara in June 2019 to play for his home city team. The road to play for his favorite team started with Chivas' rival team Atlas. Pollo was part of Atlas' youth academy and after a stellar performance as captain with the U-17 Mexico National Team in that category's World Cup in 2011, he was called to Atlas' first team. It's no surprise, given the U-17 Mexico National Team won the World Cup final, in which he scored a goal against Uruguay. He made his professional debut on September 30, 2011 against Chiapas. Pollo also played on other Liga MX teams, including Tigres, winning his first and only Mexican league championship in the Apertura 2015 tournament. After a brief time with FC Juárez and Club Deportivo Veracruz, Pollo signed a two-season contract with club Feirense on July 3, 2017. That year he also married model and social media influencer Alethia Sada with whom he has two daughters, Alessandra y Antonella.
