40 Acres starts at the Freeman farm. An assault on the farm and its occupants is about to occur, but a small, mighty group manages to stop the assailants and ensure they never return. Here, we meet Hailey (Danielle Deadwyler), a former soldier who has trained her family, which comprises her partner Galen (Michael Greyeyes) and their four children, the oldest of whom is her son Emmanuel (Kateem O'Connor). The Freemans hold firm to their values, protecting their land, training to survive, and never forgetting their respective history as a blended Black and Indigenous family.

Benedict Cumberbatch fans, get ready for your first look at the star’s latest TV drama, as the BBC have now revealed a 40-second teaser trailer for The Child in Time, the adaptation of the haunting 1987 novel from acclaimed writer Ian McEwan.
The drama sees Cumberbatch and Trainspotting‘s Kelly Macdonald as Stephen and Julie Lewis, a children’s author and his estranged wife whose young daughter goes missing on an everyday trip to the supermarket. The drama then explores their grief, with the trailer leaving it ambiguous whether the couple’s visions of their daughter are just in their minds or are the result of something more supernatural. It promises to be a harrowing depiction of death and loss and we can’t wait to see more.
As fans will know, this is the second time that Cumberbatch has starred in an adaptation of one of Ian McEwan’s novels.

Another exclusive video fresh from the set of Mma-powered movie ‘Unrivaled‘ shooting Toronto. This clip features the big, bald (& occasionally mean) Keith Jardine in a variety of scenes and on-set banter.
First off, Jardine messes with his stunt double Julian Lewis, then acts in a choreographed fight against Hector Echavarria, and also chats about his character and real-life friendship with Rashad Evans. Director Warren P. Sonoda shares some comments about working with Jardine pointing out his hard work and effort on set. Finally Jardine mentions his enthusiasm for indie film and the art of film and points out flaws in his stunt double’s hair-do.
Synopsis: A down-on-his-luck cage fighter gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he is chosen to compete against the greatest Mma world title-holder during a massive competition. The stakes are high and the rewards great…But should he lose, it will cost him his life.
