- Jean Henry is a South African Actor & Musician, known for One Piece & Diepe Waters with over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his love for film & music at a young age but decided to first pursue a career in finance after completing his degree at the University of Stellenbosch.
In 2016-2018 he attended Act Cape Town College for late-night acting classes to further develop his craft, while working multiple jobs during the day to fund his passion. Here he learned the Meisner Technique which opened up a whole new world and perspective when approaching new roles.
Jean Henry is also a talented musician (singer, guitarist & drummer) and has released multiple songs under his own name and collaborated with talented South African musicians.
In August of 2020 he signed up with Contractors Artists (a talent agency based in Johannesburg) in order to direct his main focus to acting.
Henry is considered to be a Method & Meisner actor, drawing from multiple disciplines and various teachers. He has a complete devotion to his craft and research of his roles. His actions are deliberate in order to best fit the story and add value to the character's arc.
