Nicolas Cage goes from scruffy to skilled in the action-packed trailer for The Retirement Plan.

The trailer opens with Cage's character, Matt, passing out on the beach when he is approached by his granddaughter, Sarah. She tells him that her mother, Ashley, is in serious trouble. Viewers are then introduced to Ashley, held captive by armed men. However, Matt swiftly defeats them and reunites with his daughter. Matt is then forced to use his skills as an assassin to protect his estranged family and defeat a crime boss.

Hollywood icon Nicolas Cage is back again, this time playing a retired beach bum with a mysterious past in the first trailer for the upcoming comedy action crime flick, The Retirement Plan. Released courtesy of Falling Forward Films, the first footage from The Retirement Plan teases a Nic Cage on top form as he assists his estranged family, and uses his particular set of skills, in tackling a ruthless crime boss.
