Sony Pictures has released a trailer for an upcoming sci-fi extraterrestrial conspiracy thriller called UFO. The movie has a decent cast that includes Gillian Anderson, Ella Purnell, David Strathairn, and Benjamin Beatty. But, unfortunately, the movie doesn't look very good at all. It's so not good that it's not even being released in theaters. This one is going straight to home entertainment. I hope Anderson didn't ditch the X-Files franchise to make movies like this!

Once you see this trailer, you'll know why - it looks pretty awful. So cheesy, so bad. UFO is about UFO sightings at airports, and one specific incident which sets off a big chain of events. Alex Sharp stars as Derek Echevaro, a smart kid who becomes obsessed with figuring out a math equation that may or may not be directly connected to the UFO sightings.
