This dramatic event changed the course of his plans and Britt joined the Army Infantry to honor his brother. He served 6 years active duty with 12-month deployment to Iraq. Upon being honorably discharged he continued his dream to be an actor and used his GI Bill to attend The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA majoring in acting.
