The Carpenter Trailer Combines Action, Mma, Heavy Metal & Jesus
Image
"The King of the Ring meets the Prince of Peace." While that intro should sell you on the upcoming action/faith/drama The Carpenter, heres some additional details anyway: the action flick follows a Viking and expert fighter who becomes the apprentice to a mysterious carpenter. And that Carpenter is none other than Jesus Christ himself. Sold now? We thought so. Not only will The Carpenter feature fight sequences and religious philosophy, it will also boast a heavy metal soundtrack. If the idea of Mma, Vikings, Jesus, and heavy metal all mixed together doesnt appeal to you, then maybe you just dont know whats important in life.

Set to be released on Friday, November 1st, The Carpenter is directed by Garrett Batty from a story by Kenny Krebs, Kameron Krebs, and Batty. The movie stars Kameron Krebs as the rage-filled Viking alongside Kaulin Krebs, Jeff Dickamore, and Aurora Florence, as well as several professional fighters,...

Daz Crawford, Kameron Krebs, Kaulin Krebs, Jeff Dickamore, and Aurora Florence in The Carpenter (2023)
The Carpenter trailer brings Mma, heavy metal, and Jesus into one movie
Daz Crawford, Kameron Krebs, Kaulin Krebs, Jeff Dickamore, and Aurora Florence in The Carpenter (2023)
It’s not every day you see a biblical movie which mixes Mma, heavy metal, and Jesus Christ, but the trailer for The Carpenter offers just that. That’s… certainly unique.

The Carpenter stars Kameron Krebs as “an adopted Viking orphan who becomes a carpenter’s apprentice to Jesus. The orphan, Oren, fights as a side hustle. His experience training as a carpenter with Jesus as his mentor changes his lifestyle.” Krebs serves as an executive producer on the project and also co-wrote the script alongside his father, Kenny Krebs, and director Garrett Batty. Despite the biblical backdrop, The Carpenter will feature a contemporary soundtrack of heavy metal music during the fight sequences, including tracks from Godsmack, Drowning Pool and Motley Crue.

Trailer: Action-Thriller 'Freetown' Is Now in Theaters (Based on True Story of Missionaries Escaping Civil War-Torn 1990 Liberia)
The gist... Monrovia, 1990: An aggressive civil war has escalated, threatening many lives, including a group of native Liberian missionaries and their leader. Now they must be willing to give up all that they have, to make a desperate cross-country trip to Freetown, Sierra Leone, with little chance of survival, in order to protect one of their own. Described as an action-thriller, and based on a real-life story of missionaries in 1990 Liberia and their dangerous journey to escape the civil war-torn region, "Freetown" is directed by Garrett Batty, and, as I only just learned, was actually released in a limited theatrical run last week, so check your local...
