Seydou Sarr is an African actor who was raised in Thies, Senegal in 2006 and now resides in Italy. The versatile artist made his film debut with Lo Capitano in 2023. It was directed by Matteo Garrone, which was nominated for 2024 Oscars as the Best International Feature Film.

The maverick artist won the Marcello Mastroianni Award of Best Emerging Actor at the Venice International Film Festival for his performance, portraying the character of Seydou.

Besides this, Seydou was also awarded at the David Di Donatello and NastriD'Argento. The 19-year-old has earned decent recognition for his impressive performances, leaving an unperturbed mark on the hearts of audiences.
