Biography

    • Vincent D. Rutley was born in Grand Rapids Michigan and raised in Pontiac Michigan in a Christian home (1985). Finally joining the drama team in 9th grade, acting become second nature to Vince. After graduating from Pontiac Northern High school as a thespian (2004), Vince got his start by landing multiple roles in Detroit's urban stage play circuit while working with the best actors and directors in the Motor City.

Vince went on to write, direct and produce his debut gospel stage play, "She that Findeththat a man, Findeth a Thang" (released in 2010). He also jump started his stand up comedy career in that same season and became well known for his comedic timing and improve chops.

Unfortunately, Vince was in a near fatal car accident in November of 2011 leaving him paralyzed mid chest down and diagnosed as a quadriplegic. Told he'd be a vegetable, Vince's faith wouldn't allow him to except it and he immediately began defying the odds. Vince returned back to the stage in his 2014 stage play production, "The Street Corner", which he wrote, directed, produced and stared in.

Vince currently resides in Phoenix Arizona and is breaking into the movie, sitcom and commercial industry. He recently landed over 8 film roles, 2 commercials and has met his directorial debut in the new comedy sitcom pilot, "Beans", as well as portraying the character Carver the fire inspector.

Nothing can stop this guy and he is preparing to be the most sought after up and coming quadriplegic actor in the business.
