DJ Wael was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to a Saudi father and Saudi mother. His original name is Wail Balkhy. Most of his family are famous people in middle east like his uncle Abu-Baker Salem He spent his teenage years producing music in Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California with his first official Remix released in 2014. He is the first Arab to release the world's first Arabic Dubstep track on Soundcloud.
