Jenny Cresswell

Jenny Cresswell was born in 1948 in England. Cresswell won the Miss Anglia competition in 1969 and was a hostess on the long-running British game show Sale of the Century (1971). Moreover, Jenny appeared as an extra on a handful of episodes of the cult science fiction TV series Space: 1999 (1975). Although her scene as a local Tatooine girl flirting with and kissing Han Solo in the Mos Eisley cantina was cut from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), Cresswell can nonetheless still be spotted in a single long shot as a Mos Eisley cantina patron in the released theatrical version of the film. Jenny eventually went on to work as primary school teacher at Nettlestone Primary School in Seaview, Isle of Wright, UK. Cresswell is also the mother of a daughter, Annabelle.
