Biography

Destiny Jackson was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Since she was a little girl, her imagination has always been active. Around the age of seven, Destiny began to write short stories and share them with family. As she grew older, the desire to create never left her as she started acting in middle school and throughout high school. After moving to Los Angeles to attend USC, Destiny enrolled in her first screenwriting class and fell in love with storytelling even more.

Destiny released her first short film, SWIPE, in 2023. She wrote and starred in the short film. During summer 2023, SWIPE has been selected for multiple film festivals including The Micheaux Film Festival and BronzeLens Film Festival. She looks forward to continuing to create in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
