The Cannes Film Festival witnessed the unveiling of the first look posters for “Love in Vietnam”, an India-Vietnam collaborative feature film marking Omung Kumar’s production debut.

Starring Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur, and popular Vietnamese actress KhaNgan, the film is directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi.

The production team includes Omung Kumar, Captain Rahul Bali, Rahhat Shah Kazmi, and Abhishek Ankur, with co-producers Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajid, and Samten Hills, Dalat, and associate producer Vikas Sharma.

The makers of the reality streaming show ‘Big Boss Ott’, which is returning with its second season, have unveiled the house, its decor and the themes.

The house has been designed by art director Omung Kumar and production designer Vanita Garud Kumar, the theme of the ‘strange house’ takes centre stage due to its captivating design.

"It was not easy for us to redesign 'Bigg Boss' house at a time when everything was shut due to lockdown. There was a limited number of labourers available. Most of them had gone to their villages. In wake of women panels condemning Vivek Oberoi's tweet on exit polls as "disrespectful" to the dignity of women, the actor said he has always been careful about respecting the opposite gender.

The National Commission for Women (Ncw) on Monday sought a response from Vivek for his "misogynistic" tweet on exit polls. Earlier, the Maharashtra State Women's Commission (Mswc) had found his post disrespectful to women.

"I would want to meet the Women's Commission... I have been working on women empowerment since the past 10 years, and I don't just talk about it on social media... I am very careful as far as respect for women is concerned. I personally feel that there's no disrespect (in what happened). I would meet the Women's Commission and if they explain to me what is wrong in it, I would apologise," Vivek told the media here on Monday.

Bollywood biopic Pm Narendra Modi will hit the theatres on May 24, after the Lok Sabha Election results are announced, the makers said on Friday. The film, on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was stopped just a night before its worldwide release on April 11 when the parliamentary polls kicked off. The Election Commission said that any material which disturbs a level playing field should not be allowed.

Producer Sandip Ssingh said: "As a responsible citizen, we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and given the curiosity and excitement about the film, we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results (to be announced on May 23)."

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who plays Narendra Modi in the controversial biopic on the Prime Minister, met the Election Commission (EC) on Thursday over the film's release. After the meeting, Oberoi said the poll panel watched the biopic on Wednesday and gave a "good response".?"I can't tell you their response, but we are happy after meeting them and getting their answer," he told reporters here.?"We hope the movie is allowed to be released soon as there's no political agenda behind Pm Modi's biopic," he added.

Bollywood biopic Pm Narendra Modi on Tuesday was granted a 'unrestricted' (U) certificate for release by the Central Board of Film Certification (Cbfc), the film's director Omung Kumar said. "We knew it will happen. Finally, it's out," Omung told Ians. In a statement, Omung said: "The team and I were convinced of what we have made. The team of Bollywood biopic Pm Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed gratitude towards the judiciary as the Supreme Court dismissed a plea seeking a stay on the film's release. The court said the constitutional body Election Commission is the appropriate authority to address the petitioner's concerns on whether the film should be released in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as it may tilt the balance or benefit a particular political party.?

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who plays Modi in the film, has appreciated the Supreme Court's stance.

A contentious biopic about India’s polarizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, titled “Pm Narendra Modi,” will finally release on April 11. That is the same day that the mega exercise that is the Indian elections begins.

The film has been put together remarkably quickly, with principal photography commencing Jan. 28. It was due in theaters on April 12, with release then brought forward to April 5.

Opposition parties, including the Indian National Congress, had petitioned the Election Commission to delay the film’s release until after the polls close on May 19, on the grounds that it was propaganda for the incumbent prime minister and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Producers announced that the film will release simultaneously in 38 countries.

The film is directed by Omung Kumar, who previously directed boxer biopic “Mary Kom,” starring Priyanka Chopra, and produced by Legend Global Studio (“Bhoomi”). It stars Vivek Oberoi (“Company”).
