Emilio Lezama is renowned for his work in communication strategy and impact campaigns in the film industry. As director of Los hijos de la Malinche, he was in charge of strategy and communications in Latin America for Alfonso Cuaron's ROMA, for which he won several awards. The campaign was hugely successful not only in driving audiences to see the film but in creating profound social impact for domestic workers in the region. He also worked as consultant or strategist for the Box by Lorenzo Vigas and Sundown by Michel Franco. He is recognized as one of the most important communication strategists in Latin America having worked with Alfonso Cuaron, Michel Franco, David Linde, Alondra de la Parra, Luis Mandoki, Elisa Carrillo, Lorenzo Vigas and Simon Bros among many others. He is also known for his work as a writer and political analyst.
