Ajith Abraham George is a Diploma holder in Sound Recording and Sound Engineering from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in the year 1995.
He has served as Chief Mixing Engineer at Annapurna studios Hyderabad. The first Dolby Atmos Premier certified facility in South India and the second in India. Also served as the faculty and HOD Audiography of K.R Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts Kottayam, the first film Institute run by Government of Kerala. Has worked as Technical and Operational Head for Vismayas Max Studio Complex at Trivandrum. This was the first full-fledged post production studio in Kerala. Was instrumental in establishing the studio the best in Kerala and also developing its Cochin studio division. Also working as Consultant Technical Head of D.S.M.C Studios Thiruvalla, a studio division owned by Marthoma Church.
Also working as freelance Mixing Engineer for films as well as songs. Also serving as Adjunct Professor at IIT Hyderabad in the Department Design.
Has won several awards which include the Kerala State Film Award for best Audiographer for the film Albuthadweep in the year 2005 and for Chitra Suthram in the year 2010. Also won the prestigious Rajat Kamal (National Award) for best Audiography Non feature for the Documentary film In Return Just a Book. It was based on the famous writer Perumpadavam Sreedharanan's well-known book literary work "Oru Sankeerthanam Pole" in the year 2017. Had won the Kerala State film award for year 2020 for the film Sufium Sujathayaum. Film Critics' Awards for Orey Kadal in the year 2007 ,for Rithu and Ividam Swargamanu in 2009 and for Karmayodha in 2013. Ujala Asianet Award for the film Karuthpakshikal in the year 2006, Mathrubhumi Award for 2006. Also won the outstanding team player award twice in Real Image Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. during the year 2001 and 2004.
Has worked earlier in Real Image Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, as Senior Audio Engineer, considered as the premium Sound Studio in India. Real Image Technologies is a company that represents D.T.S, Avid, Protools and Qube Digital Cinema Technologies in India.
Has worked with Late Mr. H. Sridhar for 12 years. Mr. Sridhar (Grammy award and 4 times national award winner) is even now considered as THE Sound guy of the Indian Film Industry.
Worked in more than Five Hundred Films and Jingles in various Indian languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada, all in multi- track. Also mixed more than 6000 songs for various music directors in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu & Kannada.
