WWE’s “Hollywood It Couple” The Miz and Maryse are now a couple of Austin, Texas, residents. And Tinseltown, your tourism industry is at least partly to blame for L.A. now having two fewer “A-listers.”

“Our house in Los Angeles — people knew where we lived,” WWE Superstar The Miz told TheWrap. “We were a stop at — you know those [tourist] places ‘See Stars Homes’? They’d be driving past us taking pictures of our house everyday.”

Considering Miz and Maryse star on a nationally televised live TV show, criminals could easily gauge when the two were away. “It was a safety concern, more or less,” Miz said, adding that there “were attempted break-ins all the time.”

WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt was injured in a car accident on Friday, when he “sustained multiple injuries,” according to WWE. Wyatt, who is one-half of the “Monday Night Raw” Tag Team Champions, will miss tonight’s TV show.

Wyatt was en route to the airport for this past weekend’s “Raw” WWE Live Events when he was in a head-on automobile collision that left his car totaled, the professional wrestling company wrote on its website. He was treated at Tampa General Hospital and has since been released.

No further details are currently available on the extent of Wyatt’s injuries.

WWE star and winner of “Tough Enough III” Matt Cappotelli has died after a yearlong battle with a malignant brain tumor. He was 38.

Cappotelli’s wife Lindsay shared the news in a Facebook post to a group dedicated to Cappotelli.

“Today my love — my strong, sweet, beautiful love — took his last breath at 3:30 a.m. and went Home to be with Jesus…exactly one year after his brain surgery,” she wrote. “You think you can be prepared for this when you know it’s coming, but you just can’t. The only person whose comfort I want right now is the one who can’t give it to me.”

Cappotelli was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005, ending his promising wrestling career. Though that brain tumor was removed, he continued to undergo yearly screenings, and in June 2017, he began to experience headaches and “seizure activity,” according to Lindsay. After further testing,...

Cappotelli starred on the third season of WWE’s Tough Enough reality show, produced by the WWE with MTV, where participants trained for a shot at a WWE contract. Cappotelli and John Hennigan (known professionally as Johnny Nitro) were the winners. Cappotelli went on to wrestle in the development league for the WWE, winning the Ohio Valley Wrestling championship.

Cappotelli had his pro wrestling career cut short after he was first diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery. Ten years later, the tumor returned, and he had a second surgery in June 2017.

In December 2017, doctors determined that the remaining tumor was inoperable, as it was located close to his brain stem.

Matt Cappotelli, the winner of WWE’s reality show “Tough Enough,” died Friday after fighting two battles with brain cancer, WDRB reports. He was 38.

Cappotelli was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005, beating it two years later. However, in 2017, doctors diagnosed him with a Grade 4 glioblastoma tumor and were subsequently unable to fully remove it, deeming it terminal, Wdrb reports.

Cappotelli, who is survived by his wife, became a trainer at Ohio Valley Wrestling after his retirement.

TheWrap has reached out to the WWE for comment on Cappotelli’s death.
