Aniya Simone is a spunky, talented actress, singer, and entertainer. She has always loved being in front of the camera. In August 2020, at the age of 6, she started her YouTube Channel to show her personality. At the age of 7, she booked her first acting job without having any prior acting classes/training. She landed a recurring role on Disney's Sydney to the Max playing the character "Lexi". She had the pleasure of working with great directors on the show. Raven-Symoné, one of her favorite actors, directed her debut episode. She also worked with the amazing Robbie Countryman, Jody Margolin Hahn, and David Kendall.
On October 10, 2021, her birthday, she released her first single called "Imagination." It is available on all streaming platforms. She also released a music video for her single on October 23, 2021 which is available on YouTube.
Aniya just finished touring with the Lion King National Tour, playing the role of Young Nala. She also had the opportunity to make her Lion King Broadway debut at the Minskoff Theatre. In August 2022, she landed the role of playing the understudy of Young Anna Mae on the Tina Turner 1st National Tour. She performed in multiple cities and was able to perform opening week at the iconic Fox Theater in her hometown Atlanta.
Aniya has published her first journal for kids, My Daily Journal, which is now available on Amazon.
She loves spending time with her family, singing, dancing, playing games, creating art, cooking, and having fun!
