India.s largest kids film fest closes with a bang
The nation.s biggest and one of the largest in the world, The Golden Elephant 17th International Children.s Film Festival, came to a close Sunday amidst much fanfare in this historic city of Hyderabad.Over six days, close to 154 films from 38 countries were screened across 13 theatres in the city. At the final count, over 175,000 children from the nooks and corners of India and hundreds from across the world watched films, attended workshops and interacted with filmmakers who had come from the world over.The festival was organised by the Children.s Film Society, India (Cfsi) and the Andhra Pradesh government.Speaking to Ians, Cfsi chairperson Nandita Das said: .The festival has raised the bar when it comes to children.s film festival anywhere in the world. It will be a tough act to follow even for us..The festival was not bereft of its share of problems, mostly with the screenings.

Stanley Ka Dabba and I Am Kalam in 17th International Children's Film Festival
The 17th International Children's Film Festival organized by Children's Film Society India (Cfsi) is going to be held from the 14 - 20 November  at Shilpramum, Hyderabad.In the festival 170 films of 44 countries were selected.According to Children's Film Society India CEO  Sushovan Banerjee, "For  children  between 3 to 16 years of age, this film festival has  Iran's The Other, France's Tales Of The Night, China's The Star And The Sea, Denmark's The Great Bear, India's Chillar Party, Stanley Ka Dabba, and I Am ...
