Jack Vickers is a Director, Editor and Writer known for a diverse takes on many film genres Jack grew up in England creating YouTube videos with his school friends. In December 2019, he co-founded Modict, a collaborative group channel inspired by creators such as the Sidemen and Click.
In 2021, while attending college, Jack met George Grozier, and together they created the cult-favourite Virgin Wars duology. Following the modest success of several projects, Jack founded Budget Productions, an independent studio focused on short films and digital media. In May 2022, Jack directed his first horror short, Project Thorn, which premiered on the 27th to strong reception. Later that year, he expanded the story with a sequel, Project Thorn: The Following.
As the studio evolved into Budget Media, Jack continued to develop a growing slate of projects, directing films such as Deception (2023), Such a Normal Day (2024), and Exit Point (2025), while also co-producing titles including Revenant (2024) and Lead (2025)
Jack continues to push creative boundaries through Budget Media, with a focus on bold storytelling and genre experimentation. His work reflects a commitment to independent filmmaking and a vision to inspire the next generation of creators.
