- Dana grew up in New Jersey and began acting at the age of eight. A talented singer (Soprano I), she launched her career performing in musical theatre, starring in productions such as "Mary Poppins," "Footloose," "The Wedding Singer," and "Chicago." Dana was accepted into a prestigious musical theatre program for college, but after earning a role in a feature film her freshman year, she applied to the acting program at the University of Wisconsin, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Acting/Film. She shot five films while attending college, with lead roles in two feature films. She spent a semester abroad studying Shakespeare in London, and post college, she trained in the Meisner technique at Playhouse West.
