Jamie was raised in the historical, cooperative village of Zoar, Ohio. It informed her work to increase financial inclusion and financial justice through cooperative finance.
Jamie founded a company that has written nearly $1 billion dollars in US Treasury Community Development Financial Institution grants. The work of CU Strategic Planning inspired the creation of the TV series Opportunity Knock$.
