Katia Khatchadourian
- Actress
Katia was born in Beyrouth Lebanon and grew up in Saudi Arabia until
the age of five. Of Armenian descent, the whole family moved to
Montreal, Canada in 1985. As a child, Katia was always imitating
characters and learned the art of performing at a young age. Her mother
and aunt taught her piano and she continued her music entering a
specialized music school. She performed recitals and concerts until the
age of 20. She never gave acting a thought seeing as she came from a
conservative family and their hopes of her entering engineering. She
was soon bitten by the acting bug, and entered John Abbott College, in
the Profesional Theatre Department. Upon graduation, she moved out West
to Vancouver and studied Acting for Film. Soon after school, she got an
agent and on her first ever audition landed the supporting role in
Traffic (2004).
