His real name is Ahmed Ali. He is known as Wegz. He is an Egyptian actor and trap singer. He became famous in Egypt and the whole Arab world after releasing his song "Dorak Gai" on March 11, 2020, which had great success back then as it passed 24 million views on YouTube in 2 months only.

Wegz was born in 1998 and raised in Al Wardian, Alexandria, prior to his music career, he held a position at a telecommunication company, after gaining some success, he had to quit his job to dedicate all his time to creating music and collaborating with other artists.

Wegz is one of the most established Egyptian trap artists of his generation. At only 19 years of age, grew in recognition in a short space of time, blossomed out of a highly competitive grass root led trap movement.
