Alex Kravitz graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, writing a thesis titled "Pluralizing Diplomacy: How Humans Can Construct Cosmopolitan Narratives for Educational Engagement with One Another," which uses sociological performance theory to identify the inherent limitations of the framework for international relations and how constructive narratives can foster educational engagement to counter the destructive legacies of misogyny, racism, and homophobia.

Alex is an actor, composer, comedian, writer, and director. He considers film the most comprehensive form of art because it allows synthesis of all symbolic and narrative elements and involves hundreds of people behind the scenes, each person a contributing artist for some piece of the finished product.

Having worked as a test prep tutor and state government analyst for several years, Alex's true passion is for film and music. His independent album, United, was released on 20 January 2025, and he is developing new works across media.
