Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that Maria Howell will enter the canvas during the week of May 19 playing ‘Tracy’, Anita Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie) long-lost friend and one of the gals who was a part of the singing group, The Articulettes.

Howell has had quite the career and began as a choir soloist from The Color Purple. Fans might also recognize her from roles on Army Wives and Devious Maids, and guest-starring primetime shows like The Resident and Criminal Minds.

An incredible singer, she’s been on the stage along with music artists like Ray Charles, Earl Klugh, and Nancy Wilson.

Eric Clapton, Gary Clark. Jr., Jeff Beck and other guitar icons will appear on the Crossroads Festival’s first-ever vinyl set, a six-lp live release.

Performances from Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Carlos Santana, James Taylor, Steve Winwood, Zz Top, Joe Walsh, Keith Urban, Susan Tedeschi with the Derek Trucks Band, Willie Nelson and Buddy Guy also appear on the package, Crossroads Revisited: Selections from the Crossroads Guitar Festival, out December 6th via Rhino.

It was an incredible night at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards with amazing performances from Beyonce Knowles and Jay-z, along with Katy Perry and Lorde, just to name a few.

Hosted by the uber-talented LL Cool J, there were a plethora of winners this evening (January 26) including Macklemore and Ryan Lewis taking home the trophy for Best New Artist.

Daft Punk scored the biggest prize of the night with Album of the Year for Random Access Memories. In addition, the French electronic duo won Record of the Year with "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, along with Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Dance/Electronica Album.

Another memorable moment went to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis when Madonna and Queen Latifah joined them on stage for "Same Love," during which 34 couples tied the knot!

Hollywood is joining the jazz community to mourn the death of jazz legend Dave Brubeck on Wednesday. Brubeck died of heart failure and would have been 92 today.
