He was born & raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and graduated from the University of Virginia where he studied digital media & film. Hawkins began his professional acting career in Austin, TX starring in several short films & national commercials. In 2022, he made the decision to move to Los Angeles, CA to further his career. He was then selected to begin training at the renowned 'Identity School of Acting' in Hollywood, which has produced actors such as John Boyega (Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), & Damson Idris (Snowfall).
