Shrinking Season 3 Wishlist: 8 Things That Need To Happen When The Apple TV+ Show Returns
Image
Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Shrinking season 2.

Shrinking season 2 ends on a satisfying note, yet there is still a great deal left to explore in season 3. Jimmy (Jason Segel) continues to grieve the death of his wife, Tia (Lilan Bowden), in season 2, which becomes more complicated when Brett Goldstein's Shrinking character, Louis, is revealed to be the drunk driver involved in her fatal accident. By Shrinking season 2's ending, both Jimmy and Louis reach their lowest points, but they still find a way to reconcile and help each other.

While much of season 2's conflict revolves around Jimmy and Louis, the rest of Shrinking's cast of characters also have their fair share of challenges, and the cast expands with many familiar faces from other sitcoms. Paul's (Harrison Ford) Parkinson's disease symptoms become more severe, Liz (Christa Miller) finds her purpose, and Gaby (Jessica Williams) navigates a relationship...

What Paul's Condition Means For Harrison Ford In Shrinking Season 3
Image
Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Shrinking season 2.

Harrison Ford's Shrinking character, Dr. Paul Rhoades, has Parkinson's disease. As defined by the World Health Organization, Parkinson's disease is "a brain condition that causes problems with movement, mental health, sleep, pain and other health issues." Involuntary movements and tremors known as dyskinesias are a common Parkinson's disease symptom that Paul experiences. As shown in flashbacks during season 2, episode 8, Paul was diagnosed before Tia (Lilan Bowden) was killed in a car accident, meaning he was diagnosed more than a year before the beginning of Shrinking season 1.

Paul initially only shared his diagnosis with Jimmy (Jason Segel) and not with his other colleague, Gaby (Jessica Williams), but she already knew, and was eager to help him. Gaby eventually began driving Paul to and from work because of the impact Parkinson's disease had on him. Many other Shrinking characters, including Paul's former neurologist and now girlfriend,...

Image
Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from The Croods: Family Tree season 5, which just made its way from the prehistoric Pliocene era onto Hulu and Peacock today. The Croods: Family Tree began by focusing on the rivalry between the Croods and the Bettermans, who naturally claim they are better and more evolved than their cavemen frienemies in every way. As the seasons progress, so too has each family's understanding of each other, especially respective mothers Ugga and Hope as well as new friends Eep...

Selena Gomez Shouts Out the Paint Company that Named a Color for Her
Catt Sadler
Fashion designers and glam squads are used to getting their names dropped by celebrities on Instagram. But paint companies? Not so much.

Lucky for Casey and Jamie Davis, the founders of Los Angeles–based Portola Paints & Glazes, Selena Gomez, 24, is looking to change that.

On Thursday, the eco-friendly paint company shared a photo of a brand new color being mixed up on their Instagram: a rich purple hue called Revival, after Gomez’s latest album. “Holler at my girl @selenagomez cause our new color Revival is lit,” they captioned the picture.

Harvey Weinstein's former personal assistant writes tell-all play (sorta)
Leslye Headland
Leslye Headland loves Harvey Weinstein—despite having worked as his personal assistant. And he most likely loves her back—even after she penned the play Assistance, about ill-treated young personal assistants at a fictional corporation called the Weisinger Company headed by a demanding, impatient, perfectionist named Daniel Weisinger. At the very least, the Oscar-courting head of The Weinstein Company isn’t holding a grudge against Headland. The indie studio recently purchased her much-loved comedy Bachelorette (which she wrote and directed, based on her own play) at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

The 31-year-old Nyu graduate insists that Assistance, which...

Episode Recap: Lie To Me - 1.02: "Moral Waiver"
Cal (Tim Roth) and Ria (Monica Raymund) are on the case of a female soldier, Lake (Alice Lagano) who accuses her commanding officer, Sgt Scott (David Anders) of sexually assaulting her. Immediately it's apparent there's plenty to lie about in this episode, giving the intrepid team lots to ponder and explain in terms of body language and face contortions. Or just plain face pulling to the rest of us. One major attraction of this show is that people lie: be they politicians, lawyers, celebs, so it's fun to see them squirm and have their behaviour explained. Especially as when they make an expression they don't really notice they're doing something wrong, or are hiding something. They seem to think their behaviour goes unnoticed. But lies are always found out, which is why it's great to see it in action. Cal and Ria question Lake and her facial expressions, body language,...

Pillow Talk Like You've Never Seen It Before
"Elektra Luxx"; with Carla Gugino, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Timothy Olyphant and Malin Akerman; directed by Sebastián Gutiérrez.

By Sam Weisberg - March 10, 2011

“Elektra Luxx” is infinitely worse than its predecessor, 2009's “Women in Trouble,” which was already pretty damn bad. But Sebastián Gutiérrez, writer and director of both films, is clearly blinded by delusions of relevance. Although virtually no one saw his first outing—no one, that is, except for critics earning money to see it, who in turn hated it—he's convinced that rehashing it will truly reveal his genius. Think again.

“Women in Trouble” gave us a hectic day in the lives of Elektra Luxx (Carla Gugino), a buxom, blonde, forty-something porn star; two of her younger co-stars (Adrianne Palicki and Emmanuelle Chriqui), the former severely brain-damaged; Elektra's rock star boyfriend (Josh Brolin), who accidentally suffocates during an airplane toilet tryst with a stewardess...

'FlashForward' - Let No Man Put Asunder
This review may contain spoilers. For a series so concerned with the future, "FlashForward" certainly spends a lot of time in the past. Flashback's on "FlashForward" ... the very idea is an oxymoron unto itself. In this case, the purpose of these flash backs is to provide some insight on the betrayal of Marcie (Amy Rosoff) now that we know she is working for the enigmatic villains of the series. You know, the people we know nothing about beyond the fact that they caused the blackout in the first place. Central to it all is Demetri (John Cho), Janis (Christine Woods), Gough (Lee Thompson Young) and, of course, Marcie. A team at Quantico, the foursome helped each other rise in the ranks until they were finally assigned to the Los Angeles field office. The camaraderie comes off as ...
