Full Trailer for Martial Arts Film 'Beyond Redemption' with Brian Ho
Image
"How deep are you?" "As deep as it gets." Well Go USA has debuted a brand new trailer for the official re-release of this martial arts action thriller titled Beyond Redemption. This movie originally premiered in 2015 and open in Canadian theaters in 2016, and was eventually given a proper Blu-ray / VOD release in the US by Well Go. Beyond Redemption is the only feature directed by Bruce Fontaine, a martial arts expert & stuntman who spent years in Hong Kong. It stars a group of other stuntmen in most of the roles, including Brian Ho, in a generic but entertaining undercover story. This seems like one of these underground cult hit action films that has been lost in the mix, now finally getting a chance to shine again. A weary undercover cop must maintain his cover while saving the daughter of a notorious Triad Boss from becoming collateral damage in a sting operation gone wrong.

Stunt Man Brian Ho in Beyond Redemption (Well Go USA)
Brian Ho shows amazing potential as the lead in Beyond Redemption, set for Blu-Ray and DVD release by Well Go USA on February 7th. You may not have known it, but you’ve seen the lead actor on the big screen before.

He is the guy that usually makes other leads look like total bad asses. Now that he has moved from the obscurity of behind the scenes to a lead role, his true potential is bursting through. Ho transforms from stunt man to front man as hot-headed cop, Billy Tong.

After embarking upon a dangerous undercover mission to take down a notorious gang, he gets caught up in a web of betrayal and lies. To survive, he’ll have to fight as hard to get out as he did to get in.

Directed by Bruce Fontaine and costarring Nickolas Baric, Raymond Chan and Peter Chao, Beyond Redemption is a...

Watch: Slick Adventure in 20-Minute 'Tomb Raider' Fan Film 'Croft'
If the Tomb Raider films starring Angelina Jolie just didn't satisfy your appetite as a fan of the Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics video game franchise, then a new fan film just might give you what you need. Trevor Addie directs and co-wrote Croft, a 20-minute short film based on female adventurer Lara Croft. Complete with a bow and arrow (which was added to the video game around the same time The Hunger Games made the weapon prominent again in mainstream action), Cassandra Ebner plays the title hero as she tries to save a young girl held hostage in the mountains by a group of mercenaries. It's pretty bad ass. Here's Trevor Addie's live-action short film Croft, via ComingSoon: Liam Carter, Devyn Dalton, Nickolas Baric, Shaw Madson and Brad Friesen also star in the film which won Best Action Short at the Atlanta Underground Film Fest. The film also...

Watch the Tomb Raider Fan Film Croft
Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
After getting a video game facelift, Laura Croft and Tomb Raider landed at MGM Studios for a complete theatrical reboot, which is still moving forward, though somewhat slowly. We have not heard any more about the continuing adventures of Croft since March of this year. Who will take over for Angelina Jolie in playing her on screen? And who might be writing and/or directing? This morning, filmmaker Trevor Addie (Kill Switch) and his writing partner Irma Leong (Warm Bodies) throw their hats into the ring with a new 20-minute action-packed fan film that is making waves across the Internet. Croft follows a woman who risks everything to save a young girl held hostage in the mountains by a group of mercenaries, and is loosely based on the popular reboot of the video game series, simply titled Tomb Raider, which arrived from Square Enix on March 5, 2013. Watch as Cassandra Ebner...

Depp Has Family Tree Ties To The Queen
Johnny Depp at an event for Waiting for the Barbarians (2019)
Johnny Depp has royal blood, according to a British genealogist.

Family tree expert Nick Barratt has uncovered a centuries-old bloodline that could link the Pirates of Caribbean star to Queen Elizabeth II.

The star and the monarch share the same great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great-grandfather, according to Barratt.

He tells the Sunday Mirror newspaper, "You have to go back more than 500 years to reach the point where his ancestors become royal... I believe the balance of probability is that there is indeed a link between Depp and the royals, (although) I doubt we'll ever be able to prove it 100 per cent."...

Johnny Depp relative of Queen Elizabeth: Report
He is Hollywood royalty but Johnny Depp may have some real blue blood in him. The ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' star is a distant relative of UK''s Queen Elizabeth II according to the finds of a BBC show ''Who Do You Think You Are''. According to Nick Barratt, the genealogy expert of the show which traces back the roots of famous names, Depp is a member of the British royal family. "Depp is likely 20th cousins with the Queen, the connection being a shared grandfather," said Barratt. The connection requires one to go back 600 years to an unconfirmed marriage in the 1400''s in Yorkshire, England. "I believe the balance of probability is that there is indeed a link between Depp and the royals, though I doubt we''ll ever be able to prove it 100 percent," he said. Meanwhile Depp''s next project is inspired by a different line of ancestry, his Cherokee Indian heritage.

Johnny Depp's Shocking British Royal Connection
Johnny Depp at an event for Waiting for the Barbarians (2019)
Johnny Depp was nowhere to be seen at this month's epic Royal Wedding, and as it turns out, his omission from the guest list could have been a major snub. He is, after all, probably part of the family.

According to Nick Barratt, a genealogist for the BBC show "Who Do You Think You Are," Depp is likely 20th cousins with Queen Elizabeth, with the connection being a shared great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather.

The connection, Barratt told The Daily Mirror, requires one to go back 600 years to an unconfirmed marriage in the 1400's in Yorkshire, England; while that may seem tenuous, given the terrific documentation of Depp's long line of English and French ancestors, Barratt said, "I believe the balance of probability is that there is indeed a link between Depp and the royals...

A genealogist has revealed that Johnny Depp is related to Queen Elizabeth II. According to the Sunday Mirror, Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, is the Queen's cousin 20 times removed. "You have to go back more than 500 years to reach the point where his ancestors become royal," said Dr Nick Barratt, who carried out the research. The Alice in Wonderland actor recently revealed that the Pirates movies are not being produced solely to make money. Depp will (more)...
