At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – but for the month of October, we were celebrating Halloween all month long with our JoBlotober event. It was all horror all the time… and while the event is now over, as Halloween has come and gone, two of the three movies we released this week were still JoBlotober horror releases.

The movies that have been released on JoBlo TV over the last week are the slasher Death Cast, the supernatural horror film Pumpkins, and (to kick off November) the action fantasy film Game of Dragons. Here’s some information on each one of them:

Artur Hawkwing is a legendary figure within The Wheel of Time series, written by Robert Jordan and finished by Brandon Sanderson. Born Artur Paendrag Tanreall, he was a very powerful Ta'veren — basically someone who's so important to the fabric of reality that events bend around them — and eventually ruled over a vast empire. He was a well-loved king whose reign was marked by peace, although his death did set off a brutal period of warfare as people fought to take his place, or else carve off pieces of his former empire for themselves.

Artur Hawkwing gets talked about a lot in The Wheel of Time books, but is rarely seen. That makes sense, considering he died long before the events of the story. But he does return briefly when Mat Cauthon sounds the Horn of Valere in The Great Hunt, coming to Mat's aid alongside other heroes of legend.

The characters of The Last Kingdom are returning for their final battle. The fifth and final season of the Netflix series was released last March. The Seven Kings Must Die film, which will conclude the series, will arrive on April 14th.

The Last Kingdom is returning for its final season next month. Netflix has set a premiere date for season five of the historical drama and released new photos and a teaser trailer. Uhtred of Bebbanburg and his adventures are coming to an end with year five. The Netflix historical drama series, The Last Kingdom, is coming to a close so, there won't be a sixth season. The streaming service hasn't announced a release date for the final installments as yet.

You’d think people would have learned this lesson by now, but commuting businessman Jake (Rupert Hill) appears to be a slow learner. Writer/director Mark Murphy's new British thriller 'Awaiting' has just moved into post-production. The cannabilistic project from Green Screen and Solar Productions stars 'Defiance' actor Tony Curran, ex-'Coronation Street' star Rupert Hil, Peter Woodward, Adrian Bouchet, Sophie Lovell Anderson and former X Factor (UK) performer Diana Vickers. Featuring a premise that will pit the intergalactic headhunter against the Knights Templar, Predator: Dark Ages promises to be a fan film extraordinaire. The director will be award-winning filmmaker James Bushe.

And, the trailer shows a deadly supernatural element. The film follows a group of twenty-somethings. They break into a church in search of a few thrills. Their lives end tragically and mysteriously.
