- Sarah Talabi (born December 26 1999) is an American model, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. She was recognized by Forbes Magazine on their 30 under 30 list for her fashion media company: La Luxe Vie, as well as her filmography and charity work. Sarah Talabi won best female model at the Daily Front Row Awards and won Fashion Personality of the Year in 2023.
Early Life
Sarah Talabi was born in Detroit, Michigan to her father Levi Verazzano, an Italian real estate developer and her mother, Klem Talabi, who is of Nigerian, British and French descent. Leah has a twin sister, Sarah Talabi, and a younger sister by eight years, Olivia Talabi. Sarah moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 12 and has resided there ever since.
Career
Talabi was first discovered by a modeling agent at the age of 15, and after winning a modeling contest started to work in fashion modeling and commercials. In 2016, she started a fashion media company with her sister, called La Luxe Vie. The multi-media company aimed to scale and develop high quality content for emerging designers. As of 2024, the company's services include film production, commercial production, digital media production, and creative direction for fashion campaigns. Talabi has directed and produced several films through the production arm of her company with the overarching goal of female empowerment and celebrating women.
Personal Life
Talabi has always been passionate about advocating for women's rights and she started a nonprofit organization in 2020 with the mission of elevating and empowering women worldwide. Her nonprofit organization has partnered with UN Women and the Global Fund for Women to further their mission.
