Growing up in a small town called Saint Johnsville, New York, Mack's first connection to acting came from a professor where he studied at SUNY Cortland, who introduced him to a casting director. He began to do background roles for various local productions and realized how much he loved acting.
Mack left SUNY Cortland amid the pandemic in January 2021 to further pursue acting and began taking courses at T. Schreiber Studio in New York CIty, along with private vocal lessons to evolve his craft.
