Scarlett Johansson made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2009's Iron Man 2 as Natasha Romanoff. Her character got more screentime in her second appearance, 2012's The Avengers, which further highlighted her character, Black Widow.

Johansson's Black Widow was a major part of the franchise until her death in 2018's Avengers: Endgame, although she got her own standalone film, 2021's Black Widow, which took place before the events of Endgame. In a new interview with Vanity Fair ahead of the release of her directorial debut, Eleanor the Great, Johansson looked back at how impactful The Avengers was, and shared the group's thoughts on the film. The actress also revealed which scene terrified her the most: her four-second line in Russian.

Florence Pugh is reflecting on Yelena Belova’s direction in Thunderbolts** while recalling incidents from a challenging production, including a scorpion encounter and cast injuries on set. The Marvel film, directed by Jake Schreier, features a team of conflicted operatives led by Yelena and includes Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko).

At last summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, Pugh revealed that she had a major stunt in “Thunderbolts”: jumping off the second tallest building in the world, Merdeka, a 118-story skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s the type of terrifying feat that would freak most grandparents out, but Pugh’s grandmother, affectionately called “Granzo Pat,” didn’t seem to bat an eyelash during the London premiere of the Marvel movie.

“She loved the movie. She said, ‘Brilliant, darling. Very thrilling,’ but I didn’t ask her what she thought of the jump,” Pugh tells Variety in Los Angeles a few days later. “She’s also crazy, like she’s someone that does some pretty mad stuff, so maybe she just thought that was a walk in the park.”

Halle Berry has played plenty of badasses in her acting career, including two superheroes, namely Storm and Catwoman. So it should come as no surprise that the actress chose to do most of her stunts in her latest role in John Wick 3: Parabellum. But as stunt performer Heidi Moneymaker, who trained Berry for the film revealed, there were two particular stunts which were deemed too dangerous for the actress to do herself.

"Most of my actors have been fairly game to do stuff, but my number one would be Halle Berry, because I trained her for John Wick 3 and we trained together for six months. She went through more than I can even mention here, but was just, no matter what, was 100% in the role, in the character. We were in Morocco during her fight scenes. Her stunt double rehearsed everything, but there were only two parts of that that Halle didn't do.

But the photo may have teased something else as well. The image in question features Scarlett Johansson wearing a very familiar outfit, which strangling flash back to the events of Captain America: Civil War.

While there is no clear-cut confirmation that this flashback is taking place, Scarlett Johansson is seen wearing the same tan coat from the opening scenes of Captain America: Civil War, and her hairstyle is the same as it was in that scene as well. Following the gag reel, featurette and deleted scenes released yesterday, a new featurette has arrived for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which showcases Scarlett Johansson. The actress discusses her comfort level with the stunt team, which allows her to be sent up 60 feet in the air for certain scenes, and her work with Heidi Moneymaker, who has served as the actress' stunt double for every Marvel movie since Iron Man 2.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk.

It was revealed this week that Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, but despite the happy news for the couple, this has of course led to speculation about what it means for her role as the Black Widow in Joss Whedon’s star-studded sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

According to E! News, the baby is due in August and the actress is still set to head straight to work on the Avengers Assemble follow-up when press for Captain America: The Winter Soldier wraps up. A source tells the site that, “They’re going to fast-track her scenes,” while Marvel refused to comment about the production which begins on April 5th.

Gossip sites didn’t pick up on the fact that Johansson was showing any signs of pregnancy when she appeared at the Oscars this past Sunday, so it’s certainly feasible that she could indeed...

Los Angeles, April 25: Actress Scarlett Johansson, who had to work hard to get into shape to play Black Widow in "The Avengers", says she is worried about her body.

But the actress is happy that her action role has got her into the best shape she has ever been in.

"Every woman has body worries, and I'm not exempt from that. But part of the by-product of spending that much time in the gym is that you can fit into a cat suit," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

Johansson plays as Black Widow and her spy character in the superhero movie is fierce. She had to work very closely with her stunt-double Heidi Moneymaker to get her fight scenes right.
