Watch Some Beloved Christmas Toys Crash Into A Wall At 124 Mph
Apparently, Crash Test Dummies also celebrate Christmas, and since they're doomed to a life of pain and service to the auto industry, they really only know one way to celebrate. Ok, jokes aside, when I started this video I expected to see a lot of toys get smashed to smithereens against a wall. What I didn't expect to see, were children in crash test dummy masks singing in another language! This whole thing felt like a fever dream, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. Check it out below and thanks to Geekologie for the heads up. ...

Video Tribute to 80s Geek Movies: Mmm mmm 80s (Three Kids) — NeverEnding Story/Karate Kid/Goonies
If you’re a geek product of the '80s, you’ll appreciate this music video tribute to the classic films of the era. It’s called Mmm mmm 80s (Three Kids) and it comes from YouTuber Bonecage, who edited together footage from The NeverEnding Story, Karate Kid, and The Goonies to a parody song of the Crash Test Dummies. Here’s a note from the creator:

1984-1985 basically shaped my childhood. Freakin' Karate Kid, Goonies, and NeverEnding Story were on repeat for the next 10 years. In an effort to continue my nonstop 80s tributes, here is a parody of Crash Test Dummies about three of my favorite films. Crash Test Dummies is from the 90s, so this doesn't make a ton of sense, but suspend your terrible disbelief.

The video is absurdly entertaining and I hope you get a kick out of it!

‘The Venture Bros 6×01: Hostile Makeover’ Review
“It’s a Sicilian thing.”

It feels like the Earth was young the last time The Venture Bros was on the air, but here we are again at the start of a brand new season. Season 5 ended in flames, death, and an accordion-driven rendition of The Crash Test Dummies’ ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’ along with the sudden elevation of the surviving Ventures from has-beens to billionaires. ‘Hostile Makeover’ doesn’t spend enough time in any one place to really come to grips with what the show is trying to do with the shift from the desolation of the compound to the hustle and bustle of New York. Establishing the new normal takes up most of the episode’s run time as we bounce between the Ventures in their new digs, Dr. Girlfriend and the short-staffed Council of Thirteen, and the Monarch and Gary fucking around ineffectually.

The bulk of the episode is gags,...
