Biography

    • Oli Cowlishaw was born in Birmingham, England. He attended Droitwich Spa High School, where he made his acting debut as Anthony in a production of "Sweeney Todd", and continued performing in various roles, including Mercutio in "Romeo & Juliet" and Lt. Hibbert in "Journey's End."

      After graduation Oli trained at the Actors Studio London, focused on screen acting and characterization; and upon completion made his professional debut as a Shark in the in-house production of "West Side Story" at the Birmingham Hippodrome. He followed this up by making his professional film debut in the Oscar winning "1917", as well as working on the TV mini-series "Masters of Air". Most recently he wrapped on the web-series "Our Town", the lead in a short film "Pick A Card" and more work on the upcoming TV series "Strangers."

  • For his role in "Pick A Card", Oli was trained by Magic Bob in numerous card tricks and some light magic acts.
