Dolph Lundgren has shared some very good health news. Nine years after being diagnosed with cancer that was considered terminal, the Rocky IV actor has revealed on Instagram that he’s “finally cancer free.”

“Health update – finally cancer free with gratefulness and excitement for a bright future. Thanks for all your support always.

Theaters will need wider screens because two action icons built like trucks, Dolph Lundgren and Michael Jai White, are teaming up for Fight or Flight, an upcoming action thriller. Shane Dax Taylor directs the assassins-in-action film project, and Charlotte Kirk joins the lead cast. Fight or Flight is going to Cannes. Archstone represents international sales, while Saban holds the North American rights.

Archstone is handling international sales in Cannes while Saban pre-bought North American rights in a deal done with BondIt Media Capital CEO Matthew Helderman who is exec producer and financier.

The new WWII action thriller “Murder Company”, directed by Shane Dax Taylor, stars Kelsey Grammer as ‘General Haskel’ who enlists five misfit soldiers from different companies for a top-secret mission, releasing July 4, 2024 in theaters:

“…June, 1944. With the US invasion of Europe hanging in the balance, ‘Allied’ commanders issued a top-secret directive that would send six men behind enemy lines to assassinate a high-value German target,”

Maverick Film and Complex Corp have acquired “Murder Company,” an action film set during World War II. The film will be released in theaters, on demand and digital on July 5.

“Murder Company” was written by Jesse Mittelstadt (“Altitude”) and directed by Shane Dax Taylor (“The Best Man”). The film stars William Moseley, who appeared in “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “The Royals,” as well as Pooch Hall (“Ray Donovan”) Gilles Marini (“Sex in the City”) and Joe Anderson (“Hercules”). Kelsey Grammer, who recently revived “Frasier,” rounds out the ensemble.

“We’re very excited to present ‘Murder Company’ to audiences,” said Richard Switzer, president of Maverick Film. “The film is a non-stop thrill ride with a very authentic feel to it, having shot fully in Europe.”

As Til Death Do Us Part opens The Best Man sits in a pew working on his speech as upbeat music plays in the background. That’s followed by similar glimpses of other wedding party members prepping for the ceremony. A flashback to The Bride and Groom, nobody in this film has a name, on vacation serves to reinforce the happy image.

But Til Death Do Us Part isn’t a Hallmark Channel rom-com or Lifetime Channel thriller. Because when The Bride gets cold feet and bails on the wedding, we find out everyone involved in the ceremony is a highly skilled assassin. A year later that woman, Brook, is marrying Cal, one of the men who saved her. His cousin Bradley is the best man and another of the crew, Anders is also going to be there.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides directed by Rob Marshall and starring Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Penelope Cruzis is the fourth entry in the adventure series. The film’s music is composed by Hans Zimmer featuring Rodrigo y Gabriela. A soundtrack album including selections from the score, as well as number of remixes has been released on Tuesday by Walt Disney Records. Hollywoodnews.com: Johnny Depp prepares to set sail for a fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” adventure, though several key cast and crew members from the original three films have dropped anchor. Gone are Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and director Gore Verbinski. In their place stands Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, director Rob Marshall and a whole lot of 3D imagery. The Austin Film Festival has unveiled the program for its 17th edition, which runs October 21-28.

"Black Swan," "127 Hours," "Peep World," "Meek's Cutoff," "Conviction," "Brother's Justice," "Fair Game," and many more, including 23 U.S. and world premieres and a handful of locally-made projects, will screen at the fest. The opening, centerpiece and closing night films have not yet been announced.

"Provinces of Night," a feature film based on William Gay's novel of the same name, has been adapted for the screen by W. Earl Brown and is being directed by Shane Dax Taylor.

The saga of a rural Tennessee family, the film has rounded up an ensemble cast that includes Val Kilmer, Hilary Duff, Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam and Faye Dunaway.

Producing are Taylor, Brown and Kenneth Burke with Corky Taylor exec producing.

The film has begun production in Wilmington, N.C., where it is based at the Eue/Screen Gems Studios.
