Biography

Max Isaacson is a Cuban-American director best known for his work in genre filmmaking, including PARADISE (Tubi), a tropical punk western starring Patricia Allison, Tate Donovan, and Tia Carrere, which had its US Premiere at Cinequest 2024. His other work includes PIPE (starring Zoë Bell and Tracie Thoms), and WHISPERS (Fantastic Fest 2013, Florida Film Festival 2014). He has directed work for companies including Con-Air, HBO, Kia, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren, and written and directed work for FX, AMC and BBC America.

Along with over a decade of directing experience he has also production designed work for myriad companies including NBC, Nickelodeon, SyFy, Diane Von Furstenberg, Reese's Peanut Butter, and numerous seasons of television for Travel Channel, Discovery ID, and ESPN. He also costume designed for LCD Soundsystem, creating the iconic spacesuits used on the cover and liner for their album Sounds of Silver, for their music video North American Scum, and for their final performance at Madison Square Garden.
