Harvey Specter Lost More Than Once—And These Suits Episodes Proved It ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
In the sharp world of Suits, Harvey Specter walks like a man who’s already won. With tailored suits, an unmistakable smirk, and a reputation for being “the best closer in New York,” Harvey quickly became the show’s emblem of swagger and control. From the pilot episode, he was sold to the audience not just as a brilliant legal mind, but as someone who always finds a way to win, sometimes within the law, sometimes just close enough.
That larger-than-life image became a pillar of the show. He didn’t blink under pressure, rarely showed emotion, and had comebacks faster than most people had thoughts. For fans, Harvey wasn’t just a character, he was a standard. The mythos surrounding Harvey Specter is built on the idea that he always finds a way to win,...

Nathan Fillion’s Firefly aired only eleven out of its fourteen episodes when Fox abruptly cancelled the series. The show didn’t have the necessary ratings to justify its budget, but received a cult following after its cancellation. There were calls for its revival, and the actors of the series often got together at Comic Cons to reminisce about their experience.
Firefly was set 500 years into the future, when humans have entered a new star system. The series followed the adventures of a group of misfits aboard the Serenity, a Firefly-class spaceship. This group of nine anti-heroes was led by Fillion’s Malcolm Reynolds.
While a revival rumor is still in the air, the stars of the series have moved on. Nathan Fillion, Morena Baccarin, Gina Torres, and Alan Tudyk have all gone on to build great careers for themselves and are actively part of successful projects. Here’s...

Gabriel Macht never expected to play Harvey Specter again.
After wrapping up his nine-season run as the debonair, suave super lawyer on the USA drama Suits in 2019, Macht intentionally stepped away from acting in order to refocus his attention on spending more time with his family and raising his two young children. As time went on, he felt he was able to slowly shed the onscreen persona that had dramatically upended his life and shot him to international fame.
But in the summer of 2023, amid the actors’ and writers’ strikes in Hollywood, Netflix acquired the co-streaming rights to Suits in the U.S. (The series had already been available to stream on Peacock.) Suddenly, the glossy, eminently bingeable legal drama — which centered around hotshot corporate attorney Harvey’s decision to hire brilliant college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Following the massive success of Suits on Netflix, NBC has revisited the legal universe with a new spin-off, Suits LA. The series has new leads in Stephen Amell's Ted Black, Josh McDermitt's Stuart Lane, and Lex Scott Davis' Erica Rollins - the latter of which based her role on one familiar face.
While introducing a new cast of lawyers, Suits LA has clung on to the original show by bringing back some familiar faces. Gabriel Macht has already returned as Harvey Specter, and, along with more appearances from him, Rick Hoffman's Louis Litt and David Costabile's Daniel Hardman will also be back this season.
Despite what some may think, the LA-based offshoot isn't actually the first Suits spin-off, as Gina Torres' Jessica Pearson previously led a Chicago political drama, Pearson, after exiting Suits with Season 6.

Mike Ross wasn’t just some guy with a fake degree. He was the legal hustle. From day one, Patrick J. Adams had us rooting for the dude who walked into a job interview and accidentally became Harvey Specter’s protégé. And let’s be real; once Mike and Harvey teamed up, it was game over. That bromance? Elite.
Mike did it all – crushing cases, dodging the truth, and somehow staying the most relatable guy in the room. And when Meghan Markle’s Rachel Zane show up? Sparks. Their love story gave Suits its heartbeat. They argued, they made up, they made law look good.
The man held it down through seven solid seasons, and every scene he owned still hits hard. Then came the Suits comeback tour – thanks, streaming gods. The show blew up again, and suddenly, Mike Ross was back in the chat.
Now, with Suits L.A.

Before she played Jessica Pearson in fan-favorite legal drama Suits, Gina Torres played Zoë Alleyne Washburne in the cult hit Firefly. Fans were unfortunate to have experienced the series for only a single season, but Torres and other cast members were able to leave a lasting impression.
Torres knew the exact moment in the series that made her fall in love with the series. It is one of the exchanges between the captain of the Serenity ship, Malcolm Reynolds, and his second-in-command, a conversation that is revered by the Browncoats.

Suits went on to be the most-streamed show of the year in 2023. Critics as well as the audience admired the combination of Macht’s Harvey Specter and Adams’ Mike Ross on-screen. It's no secret that the 2011 legal drama Suits has found a new audience ever since it entered streaming. The show aired its ninth and final season in 2019, and it took four years for its second spin-off, Suits LA, to enter development. Thanks to its newfound popularity, Funko Pop took advantage of this and announced that Funko figures based on the show's iconic character will be released.
According to the Funko Pop website, Harvey Specter, Michael Ross, and Louis Litt figures will be available for purchase. Harvey and Michael will be sold together in a 2-pack, with a listed price of $24. Meanwhile, Louis will be carrying his cat, Mikado, and will be sold as a solo Pop Vinyl figure for $12. As of writing, these figures are not yet available for pre-order, and their release date has yet to be announced.

Suits LA continues its appearance of original Suits characters in reunion style. Everyone's favorite former Pearson Hardman partner is making a return. David Costabile's Daniel Hardman is set to appear in the newly-premiered spin-off series on NBC. Costabile will be a guest star in one of the upcoming episodes, but it's not clear which one — keeping viewers of the American Legal Drama curious to see when he will pop up. The actor is one of a few alumni to appear on Suits LA, following Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman. In the original series, Costabile's character was a bit of a problem for Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht, and Jessica Pearson, portrayed by Gina Torres.
In Suits, Daniel Hardman was a partner at Pearson Hardman. That is, until he was forced to leave the firm after everyone found out he was using money to fund an affair. Hardman threw...

Whether you were an Og Suits fan who tuned into the series during its entire run on USA Network or you caught up with the series via Netflix bingeing, we’ve all come to appreciate what this series has to offer.
The fashion, snappy dialogue and delivery, semi-glum setting, lovable jerk characters, and constant wheeling and dealing were genuinely fun to watch.
Harvey Specter? One of the all-time great characters played with expert precision by Gabriel Macht.

Louis Litt? He has one of the most intriguing trajectories of a character onscreen, and Rick Hoffman is the greatest at bringing this man to life.
The series showed all the haters that Meghan Markle held her own playing the fierce Rachel Zane before she was the Duchess of Sussex.

The worlds continue to collide for ‘Suits’ and ‘Suits LA,’ and I’m sure fans will be more than thrilled to know which other familiar faces will be joining the newly minted spinoff.
Rick Hoffman To Join Gabriel Macht To Reprise His Role On ‘Suits LA’
Following the resurgence of ‘Suits’ once it hit Netflix, fans couldn’t help asking for more, despite the original having a fantastic ten-season run.
To keep the spirit of the show alive, series creator Aaron Korsh was approached to find a way to bring it back.
The idea of a spinoff was finally settled on, but to make sure fans didn’t enter the new series without some touch of familiarity, ‘Suits’ lead Gabriel Macht was brought in to reprise his role in a three-episode arc.
This, however, will not be a recurring thing throughout the spinoff, as, according to creator Aaron Korsh, it...

Suits: LA is bringing in a few faces from the original series, and there are more characters fans would love to see!
Suits: LA has been a notable debut on NBC. The long-awaited spinoff to the hit USA Network series focuses on Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former prosecutor turned entertainment lawyer. The pilot has Ted rocked when his longtime friend and partner Stuart Lane stabs him in the back on a merger to try and take his firm away.
The show is going to get a big boost as Gabriel Macht will be reprising his role as Harvey Specter. It’s now confirmed that Rick Hoffman will also appear as Louis Litt. That paves the way for other Suits characters to show up who might work out well. From big names to recurring characters, these are the eight Suits actors who would make Suits: LA even better with a guest star turn!

Wait, is Suits really back? You bet your goddamn ass it is.
After the USA Network legal drama exploded on Netflix and racked up 57.7 billion minutes watched in 2023, creator Aaron Korsh is expanding the Suits universe with a second spinoff — this time, set on the West Coast. Suits LA, which premieres Sunday on NBC, will feature a new set of lawyers attempting to recapture the hallmarks of the original series: impossibly sharp intellect, edgy and witty dialogue and, yes, impeccably tailored suits and high fashion.
Given that the new spinoff offers very little carry-over in terms of characters, viewers could theoretically tune into the L.A.-based spinoff without having watched any of its predecessors. But they would be seriously depriving themselves of the addictive, cozy comforts of the original series. Whether you watched the mothership during its initial run on cable from 2011 to 2019, or during the “summer of Suits...

The world of Suits is expanding with the upcoming spin-off show, Suits LA. However, before Suits LA was ever envisioned, the original series already birthed a spin-off, Pearson. Having played the role of Jessica Pearson, managing partner of Pearson Hardman on the original show, Gina Torres departed the show after a few seasons. The character would reemerge in 2019, with Jessica diving into a challenging role as a fixer for Chicago's newly elected Mayor, Bobby Novak (Morgan Spector). Created by Aaron Korsh and Daniel Arkin, the spin-off didn't manage to capture the hearts of viewers, ultimately getting cancelled after a single season.

Suits never gets old—even though the show originally ended in 2019. The series keeps topping streaming charts, setting records, and reminding everyone just how good legal dramas can be.
At the center of all the hype? Gabriel Macht, the man behind Harvey Specter. With his sharp suits, smooth one-liners, and unmatched confidence, Harvey is the lawyer we all wish we had (and the boss most of us wouldn’t want).
His chemistry with Mike Ross, his complex romance with Donna, and his constant battle to stay on top made him one of TV’s most iconic characters. But Suits isn’t Macht’s only great role.

He’s been acting for decades, taking on everything from superheroes and spies to outlaws and struggling writers. He’s worked alongside Hollywood legends like Robert De Niro, Angelina Jolie, John Travolta, and Colin Farrell.

The second Suits spinoff series, Suits LA, is preparing to premiere later this month on NBC. Now, the star of the first Suits spinoff is wishing the Suits LA team well with the endeavor.
In 2019, Gina Torres starred in Pearson, a Suits spinoff series that focused on Torres' Jessica Pearson in Chicago. Created by Aaron Korsh and Daniel Arkin, the spinoff also starred Bethany Joy Lenz, Simon Kassianides, Eli Goree, and Chanel Riley. While it featured special appearances from characters like Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter, it didn't manage to capture the same success as its predecessor. Pearson wound up getting canceled after a single season, and Torres reflected on the short-lived show in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

[This story contains major spoilers from the series finale of 9-1-1: Lone Star, “Homecoming.”]
Gina Torres has made a career out of playing, as she puts it, “overly accomplished, standalone” women. But when her old friend Tim Minear — with whom she had worked on the cult favorite Firefly — called in the early months of the pandemic to offer her the lead role opposite Rob Lowe in 9-1-1: Lone Star, Torres could hardly believe her good fortune. Not only was she getting to play a wife and mother for the first time in her three-decade career, but she was also portraying a woman who decides to go back to work as a paramedic captain to support her family during the pandemic.
“She’s an incredible example of what women can accomplish and the space they can take up in the world,” Torres tells The Hollywood Reporter of her character, Tommy Vega. “So often you’re told, ‘You don’t get to have it all.

NBC has shared the official trailer for the all-new legal drama Suits LA, starring Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg. The series is scheduled to premiere on February 23 at 9 p.m. Et/Pt.
Suits LA is the second spinoff of Suits following the political drama series Pearson, which was created by Aaron Korsh and Daniel Arkin. Gina Torres reprised the role of Jessica Pearson in the 2019 show.
Amell plays Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.
His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.

Suits was a great show, but the spin-off Suits LA is already taking big steps to improve on the original legal drama. Suits began airing back in 2011, and the show rapidly grew to enjoy incredible success early on. Over the course of nine seasons, the show constantly developed and changed, but the core of the show was largely focused on a single pair of characters, Mike Ross and Harvey Specter.
While later seasons did eventually shift the focus to other characters as actors like Patrick Adams, who played Mike Ross, left, the show had a challenging time moving on from that partnership. However, in the upcoming spin-off, there are some notable changes. Beyond the physical relocation of the story from New York to LA, there is a whole new cast, and a new law firm to follow. And rather than simply shining a light on a pair of central characters,...

While Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) were great, the best characters in Suits were the ones the show ignored due to not knowing how to handle their arcs. These two central characters were often responsible for the best episodes of Suits, as their banter and growing friendship were both dynamic and compelling for audiences to witness. That being said, Harvey and Mike's joint arc superseded several other aspects of the show despite the fact that they shared similar storylines and themes.
Suits highlight Harvey's loyalty to Mike and Mike's desire to keep his secret warring with his desire to excel, amplifying their already extraordinary characteristics. Though that was the backbone of the show, those larger beats of wanting to succeed in the cutthroat world of corporate law were mirrored by many supporting characters, whose arcs often got shoved aside. Two specific characters are the biggest examples of this,...

Here’s All We Know About Suits Spin-Off Titled Suits LA (Photo Credit – YouTube)
Suits LA is an upcoming spin-off of the original USA Network legal drama titled Suits. The original Suits series aired from 2011 to 2019 and focused on the fictional Pearson Hardman law firm. The series starred Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, future Duchess Meghan Markle, Gina Torres, and Sarah Rafferty in leading roles.
Demands for a Suits spin-off or continuation spiked after the original Suits saw a resurgence in popularity thanks to its arrival on Netflix. The series already had a short-lived spin-off during its original run, titled Pearson, which focused on a new practice set up by Gina Torres’s Jessica Pearson.
Suits LA is being produced by original series creator Aaron Korsh and stars Stephen Amell as the new leading character, Ted Black. Alongside Amell, the show stars Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg.

Suits LA is not the first Suits spinoff show, but the new series is already avoiding the mistake that killed Pearson five years ago. While there is a lot of excitement over Suits now becoming a franchise with the upcoming Suits LA, this is not the first time Aaron Korsh’s legal drama leads into a new series. Starring Gina Torres as her Suits character Jessica Pearson, Pearson began to be developed around the same time as Suits season 7 and premiered a few months before season 9 concluded.
However, not only couldn’t Pearson match Suits’ popularity, but the spinoff lasted much less than its parent series at only 10 episodes. Pearson’s cancellation was disappointing considering how great of a character Gina Torres’ Jessica was, yet the show made some mistakes that could have been avoided. Fortunately, Suits LA is avoiding these mistakes and has the potential to be the long-running...

Led by Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter and Patrick J. Adams as Mike Ross, the USA Network legal drama, Suits, premiered in 2011 and ran till 2019. After being a hit on cable, the show resurfaced on streaming in 2023, as it took Netflix by storm, establishing itself there as well. After previously engineering a spin-off show, Pearson, which follows Gina Torres' character, Jessica Pearson, the renewed interest in 2023 has sparked another spin-off show in Suits: L.A. The sunny new legal drama will see Stephen Amell, leading the cast as Ted Black - a former federal prosecutor now leading his own firm. Seemingly a high-powered legal mind like Harvey Specter in the original series, which begs the question: Is there a connection between Black and Specter?...

With Gabriel Macht set to recur on Suits: L.A. as Harvey Specter, fans have wondered if Patrick J. Adams might also return for the spinoff series as his Suits character Mike Ross. Adams recently addressed the potential reprisal while promoting his new movie Young Werther, revealing that he's leaving the ball directly in franchise creator Aaron Korsh's court.
Speaking with MovieWeb, Adams shared that he would only return as Mike Ross in Suits: L.A. if it made sense, suggesting that he wasn't interested in appearing just for nostalgia bait. "Yeah, I think if it was valuable, and it felt like something that made sense and that was helpful to that story," he revealed. "I'm not 100% sure of the story of Suits: LA and those characters and what they're dealing with there, but if it felt like it was organic and something that was fun for everybody to do, then...

Suits is one of the best legal shows out there, but there are more to enjoy for fans of the series!
Suits has been one of the bigger TV success stories of the last few years. The original series ran on USA Network from 2011 to 2019, a great run that made it a huge rating smash. In 2023, the series hit Netflix and soon rocketed to the top of the viewing charts. That’s led to plans for a new revival series on NBC.
The show rests on the fun of the legal antics combined with great character work, such as the romances and fun banter of the characters. It joins a long list of legal dramas, many of them classic stuff like Law & Order centering on major cases. Yet others are fun in how they have a mix of great characters, sometimes offbeat cases and even some humor. If you’re a fan of Suits,...

The biggest difference between White Collar and Suits is why, despite their equal levels of popularity, one is getting a revival while the other is getting a spinoff series. White Collar and Suits share many similarities, including their recent rise in popularity on Netflix, which is now resulting in their return to the network television sphere. However, each of their returns will be in a different form as White Collar is getting a full revival while Suits: LA is confirmed to be a spinoff.
While updates on the White Collar revival have been scarce, it is very clear that the storyline will follow the characters from the original show. Meanwhile, the Suits spinoff will follow a new set of characters with only the possibility of cameos from the original cast. This distinction may seem confusing, as both shows had similar procedural structures and dynamics between the characters. That being said,...

“It would lose the credibility”: 1 Recurring Actor That ‘Suits’ Refused to Bring Back for the Finale
Actress Gina Torres was one of the original main cast members of Suits, which gained popularity for its unique premise and perspective on the legal drama genre. After seven seasons, Torres eventually exited the series to star in her spin-off series. However, she did not return to the parent series for its finale, and showrunner Aaron Korsh explained why.

During an interview, Korsh explained why it was difficult to bring Torres back for the series finale. However, what transpired left Torres’ character with arguably the worst fate of all the original main cast members.

The highly anticipated spinoff Suits: L.A. could easily and plausibly feature a cameo from someone unexpected (yet very exciting) Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson. Torres was a series regular in the original USA Network legal drama TV show from season 1 to season 7, appearing in a total of 94 episodes. However, Torres' Jessica left Suits full-time after season 6, only sporadically returning in some season 7 episodes (where she was still credited as a series regular). The actress' last Suits episode was the season 7 finale before starring in her own spinoff, Pearson, which only lasted one season.
The last time fans saw Torres as Jessica was the Pearson series finale. As many know, Jessica moved from New York to Chicago after Suits season 6 to steer her career in a different direction and continue her romantic relationship with Jeff Malone. She wanted a more fulfilling job and became the mayor of Chicago's aide. Sadly, Jessica's...

Although it is difficult to pick the best Suits scenes, some moments stand out and will forever be remembered by how they changed the trajectory of the legal drama. The story of Harvey Specter hiring Mike Ross as his junior associate despite the latter not having a law degree evolved into a show about power struggles, family fights, and complicated relationships. Suits could be very repetitive, which doesnt mean the show wouldnt find exciting ways to raise the stakes from time to time.
Every season of Suits had a least a couple of instant classic moments in which long-running storylines were paid off or major secrets were revealed. Despite its huge resurgence in popularity, Suits doesn't need a revival or another season, namely because the franchise is better off sticking with the Suits: L.A. spinoff. Created by Aaron Korsh, Suits is a nine-season legal drama that aired on the USA Network from 2011 to 2019. Initially, the series had a unique hook: Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout, leverages his photographic memory to land a gig with high-powered attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). As the duo win more lawsuits, Suits' Harvey and Mike are forced to continually cover up the latter's big secret.

Suits had 134 episodes across nine seasons, some of which laid out the foundation for the shows success. While Suits recently became a streaming hit and broke The Offices record for most streamed minutes in a year, the legal drama was already very successful during its original run. Suits was on the air from 2011 to 2019, during which the show reinvented itself a couple of times. Jessica Pearson moving to Chicago and Mike and Rachel starting a clinic in Seattle were only some of the major events that changed Suits forever.
Some things happened in every episode of Suits, such as the characters lying to each other or Harvey doing something that should get him disbarred or in jail. That is why the best episodes of Suits were the ones that broke the shows formula. That said, not all of Suits greatest episodes had major implications for the rest of the show.

Suits is one of the best and most popular legal dramas that managed to make the profession of lawyer cool again. Created by Aaron Korsh, the USA Network series follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Korsh has already attempted to expand the Suits universe with the 2019 spinoff Pearson featuring Gina Torres reprising her role as Jessica Pearson. Suits' first spinoff show ultimately failed when Peacock canceled it after one season, but that likely won't be the case for Suits: L.A.

According to TVLine, the Suits spinoff, Suits: L.A. has been officially ordered by NBC. Starring Stephen Amell, the series has not set a premiere date; however, a source is noting that if it doesn’t debut in early mid-season 2025, it will be by the 2025/2026 schedule.
“Suits: L.A.”: The Spinoff Is All Thanks To Netflix
An announcement was made in October of last year that there were talks of a new Suits spinoff thanks to the resurging popularity of the old series that garnered attention once it began streaming on Netflix.
Suits: L.A. will be the second spinoff from the Og series. For those that recall, the short-lived show, Pearson, ran for one season on USA Network in 2019 and followed Jessica Pearson, who was played by Gina Torres.
But will any original “Suits” appear in Suits: L.A.? It looks like this idea isn’t completely off the table, as Wendell Peirce,...

Suits had a stellar 9-season run with captivating characters and compelling storylines. Gretchen, Sheila, Dana, Robert, Katrina, Samantha, Rachel, Jessica, Mike, Louis, & Harvey all shine. Each character's evolution adds depth and intrigue to the legal dramas fascinating narrative.
The best Suits characters helped make it an outstanding legal drama show. Suits began airing in 2011 on USA Network, where it continued to enjoy success for nine seasons before wrapping up in 2019. The series begins by focusing on two characters, Harvey Specter and Mike Ross, who both lead very different lives despite having a lot in common besides their jobs. When Mike decides he wants to experience a more luxurious life like those working in prestigious law firms, he cons his way into a job at Pearson Hardman Law.
While Harvey and Mike are pivotal early on in the series, the show also develops a large cast of colorful characters who are equally entertaining and talented.

Suits: L.A. has still not been greenlit by NBC. Actor Bryan Greenberg, who would star in the potential drama series if ordered to series, offered the update while promoting his latest project, the MGM+ thriller series Emperor of Ocean Park.
"I'm definitely not ready to talk about that until we officially get greenlit, but [making the pilot that NBC ordered] was an amazing experience," Greenberg told MovieWeb. "I love to work with Stephen [Amell], I love the whole cast, the crew, and I think the script's great." The actor added that he has been "hearing good things" about NBC presumably ordering Suits: L.A. to series, although he noted that "there's still a long time, and I don't want to go there before if there's nowhere to go to." Greenberg's "still a long time" comment suggests that if NBC does pick up the Suits spinoff, it would not premiere until the 2025-26 television season.
