Biography

Jess Tredinnick is an emerging Australian actor, director and writer, based in Brisbane.

Her directorial debut short film 'Closed' won best film, best cinematography and best lighting at the Luma Film Festival. The horror-short has received numerous award nominations and official selections in Australian and international festivals, including nominations for Best Director.

Jess has also worked in the AD department as an additional production assistant on 'Voltron', as well as multiple independent productions, such as 'Kick in the Teeth' and 'Mislead'.

Additionally, Jess appears in multiple local and international productions filmed across QLD and NSW, including Audrey, Surviving Summer and Mortal Kombat 2. She has been featured in numerous independent short films and national brand commercials.

Jess studied a Diploma of Screen and Media (Directing major) in 2024. She previously graduated with distinction from QUT with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2018.
