Get Gotti: Did John Gotti Kill Paul Castellano?
Image
The assassination of Paul Castellano outside Sparks Steak House in 1985 marked a turning point in organized crime history, leading to a power shift within the Gambino family and the rise of John Gotti as its new boss. John Gotti, a prime suspect in Castellano's murder, used the opportunity to eliminate his rival and seize control of the family. Despite the lack of concrete proof, Gotti's ability to evade conviction, including for Castellano's assassination, solidified his status as one of the most enigmatic figures in organized crime history. He was ultimately charged and convicted for orchestrating the murder, receiving a life sentence without parole.

Netflix's docuseries Get Gotti raises questions about the assassination of Paul Castellano — and one of the biggest is whether John Gotti was the one who killed him. Castellano was prominent figure in the American Mafia who died by gunfire on December 16, 1985. The assassination occurred outside...

‘American Chopper’ Season 2 Premiere Date & Sneak Peek: A 1951 Buick Brings Family Together
Exclusive: American Chopper is back for the second season of its revival, returning to Discovery Channel starting Tuesday, Feb. 12.

This season, motorcycle builders Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. reclaim their renowned bike brands, Orange County Choppers and Paul Jr. Designs. They also take steps to mend their formerly fractured relationship and begin to restore a 1951 Buick together.

The show returned to the air last year after being absent for six years, during which legal problems between father and son dominated their attention. As noisy as the bikes they producer, the Teutuls have had a contentious relationship, with Paul Jr. being fired at one point from the father’s Orange County Choppers and forming rival Paul Jr. Designs.

While both shops are located near each other in Orange County, New York, the family feud kept them miles apart. The new series explores their reconciliation after years of cross complaints.

American Chopper has been canceled again, probably for good this time
After 10 years and a lasting legacy of shows about people who hate sleeves almost as much as they hate each other, American Chopper is ending its run on the Discovery Channel. The series about a father and son who work on motorcycles/clumsy metaphors for their relationship was canceled once before in 2010, after the constant fighting between Paul Teutul Sr. and Junior spurred Discovery's sister channel TLC to pull the plug on the show, no doubt while exclaiming, "Families fighting bitterly with each other? Good sirs, this is not what reality television is about!" However, while Chopper ...

'American Chopper': Senior's First Ever Trip To Junior's Shop
American Chopper: The Series (2002)
It looks like the tremendous progress Paul Teutul Sr. and Jr. made during their personal bike build project will stick. While building the bike together was fun, it was their relationship that needed the most work, and viewers loved seeing them come together as this season of "American Chopper" has progressed.

The build culminated in father and son going for a ride together. In the latest episode, Senior took another big step, stopping by his son's shop for the first time ever.

"It’s not that I’m spying on his shop, I’d really like to see his shop and what he’s doing over there," Senior explained.

Junior was stunned to see him, but happy at the same time. "I think overall it’s going in the right direction, but only time will tell," Junior said of their burgeoning relationship. Fans online, though, were loving seeing them closer than ever.

Paul Teutul Sr. And Jr. Talk Reconciling On 'Late Show'
American Chopper: The Series (2002)
The feud between Paul Teutul Sr. and Jr. was so big it not only tore them apart, it broke the show that made them famous. It was back in 2010 that "American Chopper" ended and gave birth to "American Chopper: Senior Vs. Junior." But the latest season finale saw the two meeting up to talk over their relationship, just as they did on "Late Show."

The Teutuls were guests on "Late Show" together, despite admitting that things haven't been completely patched up between them. But the guys are hopeful they're headed in the right direction. According to the New York Post, producers have even shortened the name of their show back to just "American Choppers," so they're clearly hopeful as well.

The article goes on to say that the producers suggested the pair work on a bike together, and it was this opportunity that they took to start mending their relationship.

'Celebrity Apprentice': Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall face off after Aubrey O'Day eliminated
As one of the two finalists on Sunday's (May 13) "The Celebrity Apprentice," Clay Aiken is having deja vu, but he says, "this time, I ain't gonna lose." The "American Idol" runner-up is going head-to-head with former late-night host Arsenio Hall as they compete to be crowned Donald Trump's latest "Celebrity Apprentice," and Clay seems determined to win. But with Lisa Lampanelli, Adam Carolla, Paul Teutul Sr. and Teresa Giudice backing up Arsenio, can Clay take him?

Maybe, especially since it looks like one of Arsenio's own team members, Lisa, has sort of defected -- she calls Clay up during the task to tell him she'll be donating a check to his charity. To be fair, though, it seems like she's giving a chunk of change to Arsenio's charity as well. Clay's not floundering out there all alone, though, as he has a strong team of former celeb-testants helping him out too,...

Vivica A. Fox and Arsenio Hall in Arsenio (1997)
Aubrey O'Day gave it her best all season long on Celebrity Apprentice, but that wasn't enough. During Sunday night's episode, Donald Trump called the singer "transparent," firing her and leaving Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken to battle it out. Fortunately, some of their former opponents and teammates came back for the challenge. Clay, got some help from Penn Jillette, Dee Snyder, Debbie Gibson and a returning Aubrey, while Arsenio, picked Paul Teutul Sr., Teresa Giudice, Lisa Lampanelli and Adam Carolla to work with him. Team Clay and Team Arsenio were told to direct, produce and star in a variety show to raise money for their charities. They also had to sell tickets to the event and...

Paul Teutul Sr. Reflects On 'Apprentice' Firing
Teresa Giudice at an event for The Real Housewives of New Jersey (2009)
Paul Teutul Sr. is used to being the co-star of his own show "American Chopper," but for the last few months he's been a participant on "The Celebrity Apprentice." Teutul's run came to an end Sunday night after he was fired by Donald Trump, and on Monday he stopped by "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays on Fox) to reflect on the experience.

Teutul hardly seemed devastated by the firing; instead he confessed that he was relieved that he'd no longer have to pull double-duty filming two reality shows. When Williams asked if he was ready to go home when he was fired, Teutul replied, "Yeah, big time." He went on to explain that the grueling schedule wore him down. "I was doing two shows ... so you were doing six days a week there, and real long hours. So anytime there was any break time, I had to shoot on my...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Paul Teutul Sr. was 'too tired to move forward'
Sleeveless wonder and Orange County Choppers cofounder Paul Teutul Sr. was fired on Sunday's (April 15) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" for bringing Aubrey O'Day back into the boardroom rather than Arsenio Hall -- at least according to Donald Trump's final words to him. But Paul, for one, thinks he deserved to go.

"I just think that I was at the point where I was too tired to move forward," he tells Zap2it. "Don't forget that I'm shooting two shows at the same time."

He is, of course, referring to the Discovery Channel series "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior," which chronicles the competition between Paul Sr.'s Occ and his son Paul Teutul Jr.'s motorcycle shop, Paul Jr. Designs.

But two reality shows and a successful motorcycle business aren't the only things keeping Paul busy, as he's preparing to open a series of Occ Cafe restaurants with locations at his New Jersey shop,...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Lisa Lampanelli Attacks Dayana Mendoza
The Apprentice (2004)
Lisa Lampanelli experienced a roller coaster of emotions on this week's installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (Sun., 9 p.m. Et on NBC). During their task, she and Dayana Mendoza got into it, when Mendoza wanted more to do, and Lampanelli accused her instead of wanting to be in the spotlight. The attack left Mendoza in tears.

"She still has no decency or respect," Mendoza said. Despite Lampanelli later crying in the boardroom and saying she didn't want to be a villain, or make girls cry, she was later much harsher toward Mendoza in a radio interview. There, she resorted to racial slurs and downright vicious and completely uncalled for insults.

Mendoza told HuffPost, "If poking fun at me can help her sell tickets to her shows, no problem, I am happy to help her put food on her table. However, when she uses racial slurs, she is not only targeting...

'The Celebrity Apprentice': Lou Ferrigno fired and fired up toward Lisa Lampanelli
Are Lisa Lampanelli and Lou Ferrigno the new Aubrey O'Day and Arsenio Hall of "The Celebrity Apprentice"? Based on Sunday's (April 8) episode, it would seem so. But since Donald Trump fired Lou in the boardroom after his team's loss, viewers probably won't get to witness the pair making up on the show.

The teams are tasked with creating a commercial for coupon company Entertainment.com with Teresa Giudice leading team Unanimous and Dayana Mendoza heading up team Forte. Both teams have the option of hiring actors for the commercials, but Unanimous mostly casts its own team members with Paul Teutul Sr. playing against type as a guy who actually wears sleeves and Aubrey O'Day as his daughter. Forte chooses two actors to portray a couple who fall in love with the aid of coupons. Lou's not down with the casting choice, though, saying, "I'm an actor. I can play any...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Tia Carrere's number is up
This week's task for "The Celebrity Apprentice" was for the teams to create a viral video for the O-Cedar ProMist Spray Mop, and simply stated, it's impossible to set out to create a viral video. One can create a video, which becomes a viral sensation, but by definition, one cannot make a viral video from the get-go.

So the fact that neither team ended up with a "viral" video -- and instead ended up with essentially traditional TV spots isn't a huge surprise. What is surprising: 1) just how much Lou Ferrigno stepped up and performed as project manager after being put on blast by most of his teammates for the last few episodes, 2) that Donald Trump allowed Tia Carrere to throw herself on the metaphorical sword for her team and volunteer to be fired, when he fired two people on the men's team for the same thing last week, 3) that...

'American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior': A Death In The Family
Paul Teutul Sr.
The bitterness between Paul Teutul Sr. and his son Paul Jr. has been festering all season long on "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior" (Mon., 9 p.m. Et on Discovery).

However, when Paul Jr. heard the distressing news that his grandmother, Helen Teutul, had passed away he found the courage to call his dad up on the phone.

Helen died in December 2011 at the age of 93 and, although she didn't feature prominently on "American Chopper," she was the lynchpin of the Teutul family.

Upset by her death and by the estrangement from his son, Paul Sr. said he would have preferred to talk to Paul Jr. in person "instead of calling him back on the phone."

Mulling over the call, Paul Sr. seemd to think that perhaps a reconciliation was in order. "I've been meaning for...

Mulling over the call, Paul Sr. seemd to think that a reconciliation was perhaps in order. "I've...

'Celebrity Apprentice': George Takei takes a bow
Sometimes I feel like "The Celebrity Apprentice" is an innately sexist show, pitting the men against the women -- can you really think of no other way to divide the teams, Mr. Trump? -- and then planning tasks that are more often than not geared more toward one sex (sandwich making notwithstanding). Or maybe I just have a bad taste in my mouth about George Takei being fired tonight in a task that in my opinion totally wasn't a fair fight. We'll get to that in a minute.

First off, the challenge: Design two Lord & Taylor window displays for Ivanka Trump's new clothing and accessories line.

After looking back and forth between their two openly gay teammates, George and Clay Aiken, the men settle on George as their project manager (the ever politically correct Adam Carolla outlined the three reasons why George was picked: 1) he's gay, 2) he's gay and...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Victoria Gotti gets the 'mid-evil' axe
Not one to be deterred by something as trivial as ratings, Donald Trump pressed on with the second episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" Sunday (Feb. 26) night going up against the Oscars. And the celebrities, not ones to be deterred by a need for actual talent, pressed on with the next challenge: Create a 12-to-15-minute show for Medieval Times.

The audience of utensil-less eaters will vote for their favorite, and a winner will be crowned. And randomly, James Lipton from "Inside the Actors Studio" is the adviser for this challenge because he's a knight. We're assuming this also qualifies the Queen of England to be a "Toddlers & Tiaras" judge.

The men and women smartly select veteran performers as their project managers: Penn Jillette and Lisa Lampanelli. But then the teams' paths quickly diverge as Lisa starts barking at the other women in the car about not being interrupted, and the...

The Apprentice (2004)
'Celebrity Apprentice': Lou Ferrigno Gets Into Sword Fighting
The Apprentice (2004)
The teams were tasked with creating entertainment for Medieval Times on this week's installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (Sun., 9 p.m. Est on NBC). James Lipton was on-hand for some reason as an official advisor, while Penn Jillette and Lisa Lampanelli were selected by their respective teams as project managers. Both were certainly logical choices, as they have plenty of experience putting on live shows.

While the men went the more traditional route, Lampanelli and the women concocted a strange "Real Housewives" scenario, with them vying for the affection of Donald Trump, played by Lampanelli. Trump Jr. comes along and advises they ratchet up the violence considering the medieval theme. As it goes along, though, Victoria Gotti gets more and more upset, even threatening to defect to the men's team so she can have a more substantial role.

The men wanted to spotlight some of their male celebrities by letting...

Donald Trump's Custom Gold Bike On 'American Chopper'
Donald Trump
Donald Trump likes things big and he likes gold, so Paul Teutul Sr. knew exactly what he was doing when his Orange County Choppers built a custom motorcycle for the billionaire. He and his team presented the bike to Trump on "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior" (Mon., 9 p.m. Est on Discovery) to a rousing applause as Senior rode it in.

"I have to say it, this is the best job you've ever done," Trump told Senior and his team. "100% American made, that's what I like."

It probably helped him get the hook-up that Senior is one of the contestants on the current season of "The Celebrity Apprentice." Plus, Trump and Senior have struck up a friendship, with Trump giving him some tough advice about the ongoing feud between Senior and his son.

The guys from Orange County Choppers were excited to be presenting the bike to Trump, and very...

This Sunday, a slew of celebrities will backstab and cat fight their way to the top of the heap when "Celebrity Apprentice" kicks off its new season. Considering who made the cut — a Gotti, a real housewife, several comedians and a few pop stars — drama will certainly ensue.

MTV News had the pleasure of catching up with Debbie Gibson and former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, who revealed how they went from enemies to besties while shooting the show.

"I was somewhat familiar, but I was a little bit of a victim of perception," Gibson said about O'Day, who is best known for her drama-filled run on MTV's "Making the Band." "I knew Aubrey's persona, but not really...

American Chopper: The Series (2002)
First Look: Donald Trump Does 'American Chopper'
American Chopper: The Series (2002)
Donald Trump is in the market for a motorcycle and just where should he turn? To Paul Teutul Sr., a contestant on the upcoming season of "Celebrity Apprentice."

Trump will appear on the Mon., Feb. 13 episode of "American Chopper" (9 p.m. Est on Discovery Channel) and he tasks Paul Sr. of the Orange County Choppers with creating the bike.

"There are a lot of bike-builders out there, but I really like Occ," Trump says in the exclusive sneak peek above. "I like Paul, I like what he's done."

The mogul said he and Paul Sr. met years ago on a talk show and discussed building a chopper, but the plans didn't come together until now. But, of course, this isn't just any kind of Trump chopper: It's for charity.

Check out the video for Paul's thoughts on working for Trump.

"American Chopper" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. Est on Discovery Channel.

American Chopper Star To Appear On Celebrity Apprentice For Make-a-Wish
Paul Teutul Sr. has been announced as one of 18 contestants on the fifth installment of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice and is competing to help the Make-a-Wish Foundation grant more wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions.

Teutul is best known as the massive, mustachioed, tattooed owner of Orange County Choppers, a custom motorcycle manufacturer, profiled on Discovery Channel’s hit reality series American Chopper.

Teutul’s support of the Make-a-Wish Foundation dates back to 2004, when the Orange County Choppers crew granted the wishes of several kids wanting to meet them. Since then, the Orange County Choppers team has granted more than 50 wishes to Make-a-Wish kids and has supported its local chapter, the Make-a-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley, by hosting events for wish kids and their families and inviting them to Orange County Choppers programs.

New Cast for ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Unveiled
The Apprentice (2004)
NBC Donald Trump on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’

The Donald’s recent political flirtations have distracted people from the fact that he’s ultimately got a lot more riding on the Nielsens than the polls. Given Celebrity Apprentice’s plummeting audience (the last series’ finale came in fourth in its time slot and saw a drop of nearly 25% in viewership among the vital 18-49 crowd), Trump and NBC are desperate for the show to have a “yoodge” season.

Fortunately, the contestant...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Penn Jillette shocked by Paul Teutul Sr. of 'American Chopper'
"Celebrity Apprentice" has been a bit stale for the past few seasons. Famous people sobbing over projects and getting snippy with each other was starting to wear thin. Then the Season 5 cast was announced and it made our ears perk up.

Hearing that notoriously smart and always controversial magician Penn Jillette is in the mix (along with people like the hysterical George Takei, the Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno, Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider and Adam Carolla), there is no way we're missing this.

According to Deadbolt, Jillette was surprised by one of his cast mates. He's now buddy buddy with Paul Teutul Sr. from "American Chopper." He explains, "Paul Sr. was the guy on a stupid show that just yells a lot and meant nothing to me. And he turned out to be a very good friend, really smart and savvy, and really kind and measured. I appreciated all of those things.

AfterElton Briefs: Darren Debuts, Remaking "Carrie," and Hugh Jackman is "Houdini"
Darren Criss made his debut in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and above you can see him at the after party with co-star Christopher J. Hanke. If you're wondering about the dirty looks, I think Darren just realized that Christopher played the rat bastard waiter who tried to break up Kevin and Scotty on Brothers & Sisters. Interloper!I give up. Yesterday I was intrigued at the prospect of Tilda Swinton remaking Auntie Mame, and now I'm being punished for letting up on my remake hatred. Planes are underway for a new version of Carrie. On the plus side, Kimberly Pierce is being eyed as director, but still, didn't the musical and deadly dull TV remake teach anyone anything? Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Christopher Walken are in talks to star in Freezing People Is Easy, about the man who tried to pioneer cryogenics. Surprisingly, it's not a Walt Disney picture.

New Celebrity Apprentice Cast: A Hulk, A Mob Wife, A Beauty Queen And More
NBC is promoting season five of Celebrity Apprentice as the “toughest season yet,” and we can kind of see why. I mean, who would want to mess with the likes of George Takei, Clay Aiken and Debbie/Deborah Gibson?

Oh, wait, there are also a couple of intimidating folks here: Victoria Gotti, Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice and American Chopper’s Paul Teutul Sr. Not only do they know their way around reality TV, but they also probably know a guy. And Lou Ferrigno may not be the Hulk anymore, but we wouldn’t test him. Also, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza was once kidnapped in Venezuela, so running a business or five should be a piece of cake, right?

Also competing for the chance to win back their fame, er, win $250,000 for the charity of their choice are a slew of “Where have they been?” folks: Aubrey O’Day,...
