Mackenna Shults is a SAG Eligible American actress from Texas.
Mackenna is set to make her television debut in a well known Network television show in Fall 2025.
She will make her feature film debut this year as Barbara Boyd, in Jeremy Snead's Matter of Time, starring opposite of Sean Astin and Myles Erlick. Additionally, she recently completed filming for Bloodstained Ivory. For this leading role, she took on the challenge of performing the piano pieces herself, dedicating six months to piano lessons and extensive practice.
From a young age, she loved to perform and participated in theatre. She is currently majoring in Acting at the University of Oklahoma, Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. She has made the OU Dean's Honor list every semester while participating in numerous productions, demonstrating her ability to balance academic excellence with a rigorous fine arts schedule.
Anticipating her graduation in December 2024, Mackenna will secure her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting in just 3.5 years. Among her standout performances at OU, she has played lead roles such as Kathryn Schwab in D.W. Gregory's Radium Girls and Macbeth in Mac Beth, a unique adaptation by Erica Schmidt.
