Zoe Mackenzie Smith is a 12-year-old actress and singer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Known for her roles in My Sister's Serial Killer Boyfriend (2023) and Go Iguanas! Out of Time (2021) (Season 4, 2022), Zoe is an emerging talent in film, television, and musical theater. She lives with her parents, her brothers Maddux (14) and Camden (8), and the family's adorable goldendoodle, Moji.
Zoe's love for performing began at age 3, nurtured through acting, singing, and dancing at the British Academy of Performing Arts. By age 6, she was already taking on lead roles in local theater productions, including Jovie in "Elf Jr.," Young Anna in "Frozen Jr.," Jane Banks in "Mary Poppins," Ursula and Sebastian in separate performances of "The Little Mermaid Jr.," and Veruca Salt in "Willy Wonka Jr." Her standout performance as Bruce in "Matilda The Musical Jr." at the 2023 Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) earned her an "All-Star" award, while her team won "Excellence in Acting." In 2024, Zoe delivered another memorable performance as Elle in "Legally Blonde The Musical Jr.," once again earning an "All-Star" award.
At age 9, Zoe made her feature film debut in My Sister's Serial Killer Boyfriend (2023) and her television series debut in Go Iguanas! Out of Time (2021). She began professional training at AGI Entertainment, participating in intensive six-week summer programs and receiving year-round group and 1:1 coaching in acting, singing, and dancing.
Zoe's journey as a recording artist became official at age 10 with the release of her first cover song and music video, "Home" from "Beetlejuice The Musical," on streaming platforms. At 11, she continued to expand her musical portfolio with three additional covers: "Vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo, "Yes, And?" by Ariana Grande, and "World Burn" from "Mean Girls The Musical." Her cover of "Yes, And?" was accompanied by a vibrant dance music video.
