- Mia Chaar is a Canadian/Lebanese writer/director with a MA Screenwriting from London Film School and a BA Practical Filmmaking from MetFilm School London. Mia's most recent work included writing and directing her graduation short film titled 'Memorial Picture House'. The film explores the concept of the after-life alongside themes of family, sisterhood and loss. Till date, 'Memorial Picture House' has won multiple awards such as 'Best Student Drama Short' at the London Independent Film Awards and was nominated at the Montreal Independent Film Festival.
