- Since his early childhood, Green has been fascinated by the art of filmmaking, creating tons of shorts with his mom, sister, and cousins. He practically watched the DVD bonus features for Robert Zemeckis's 1988 classic 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' on repeat.
- In his four years studying at The School of Visual Arts, Green wrote, directed, and produced various short films and completed several feature-length screenplays. Green took courses taught by experienced industry professionals such as writer-producer George LaVoo (the Sundance Audience Award-winning Real Women Have Curves), Emmy-winner Charles Kipps (Exiled: A Law & Order Movie, Fat Albert starring SNL's Kenan Thompson) and Independent Spirit Award-nominated writer-director Todd Stephens (SXSW selection Swan Song starring Udo Kier and Jennifer Coolidge), who was Green's thesis advisor on his final film at SVA, Gen. Sex.
