    • Eduardo Cocciardo, born in Ischia, class of '75, in 1999 graduated in Modern Literature, specialization in Music and Entertainment, at the University of Siena with 110 cum laude. Writer, teacher, actor, theater and film director. In 2003 he won the Award for the Best Text at the National Cabaret Festival in Turin. He publishes "Interrupted Applause - Poetry and Periphery in the work of Massimo Troisi", the novels "Alice out of the country", "White Snow", "The Alphabets of Death" and "The Rose of Jericho". Among his short films, selected and awarded at various festivals, "La Mezzanotte Blu" also reaches the Short Film Corner of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. His latest feature film, "The Offline", is selected in many important international festivals, obtaining numerous awards: Direction at the Arg International Film Festival in Paris, Best Independent Feature Film at the Indie House in Barcelona, Best Covid-19 Film at the Giraffe Film Festival in Nice and at the DMOFF in Canton, USA, Best Original Screenplay at the Naples Film Awards, Best Actor Protagonist to Eduardo Cocciardo at the FICIMAD in Madrid, Best Independent Feature Film at the Rome Movie Awards, Best Film at the AIMAFF in Athens, Quarantine History Mile at the Beyond Film Festival in Paris. Among his most successful shows, "L'Ultimo Borbone", "A day suddenly - a contemporary love" and "I am Claudia - 13 11 15". In 2020 he receives the Critics' Prize at the Tragos European Competition for New Dramaturgy.
