William Kaufman’s Osiris crashes into the sci-fi scene with all the subtlety of a frag grenade, and that’s largely its appeal. Blending high-concept alien horror with lowbrow action sensibilities, this lean, mean genre machine doesn’t pretend to be profound. It simply wants to entertain. And on that front, Osiris delivers in spades, even if the script occasionally trips over its own logic.

Action movie icon and Terminator star Linda Hamilton returns to the genre she’s renowned for with the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Osiris, which just got a hugely exciting release update. Instead of battling killer robots, Osiris will find Hamilton facing off with aliens after her and her crew of commandos are abducted.

Osiris, which is directed by William Kaufman from a script he co-wrote with Paul Reichelt stars Linda Hamilton alongside Max Martini, Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool), Lamonica Garrett (1883), and Linds Edwards (Homefront). The sci-fi action outing has now been picked up by Vertical for North American distribution (via Variety), meaning not only that US audiences will get to see Hamilton’s return to action, which is slated for release this summer, but also that we should be getting more updates, such as a trailer, pretty soon.

For a significant portion of its running time, the new film from the directing team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (better known as Radio Silence) plays like a hard-boiled crime drama. It has been three weeks since "The Walking Dead" premiered on Halloween night, and we are now cruising into the second half of this season. How about a fresh batch of stills for Episode 4, entitled "Vatos", to help whet the proverbial appetite?

We're all diggin' heavily on "The Walking Dead" and I'm sure we speak for all fans when we say that we simply can't wait to get this epic series on Blu-ray and DVD when it comes out. We don't know the exact date as of yet, but we do know how much it's going to cost and who will be handling distro!

Last night's episode of "The Walking Dead" on AMC was jam packed with zombie mayhem! After the slow burn from the pilot, Episode 2 revved up the action and the gore quotient significantly, don't you think?

It's amazing what AMC is letting the creators get away with, and we are loving every second of it! You are definitely missing out on a new classic if you haven't been watching, but don't worry. You can still watch the pilot episode online.

So what did you think of last night's pilot episode of "The Walking Dead" on AMC? After almost a year of teasing us with production stills, video clips, behind-the-scenes, and interviews with creators, the show hit the ground running and gave us one of the most gripping and emotional pilots in a long time.

If you didn't get misty eyes during a few of those pivotal scenes, you'd fit right in with the "walkers" and not the survivors. With the pilot episode ending with such an exciting cliffhanger, AMC is teasing us with more images and a sneak peek video from Episode 2, entitled "Guts".

Drew Struzan's PosterThe most recent news on AMC's television series "The Walking Dead" is the unveiling of three new promo' clips for this zombie influenced production. The latest three clips are entitled "Hospital Corridor," "Rick's Gun" and "Darkness." The first short film is a minute long and builds tension through a long walk to a group of constrained zombies, while the second two are less spectacular and finished in under twenty seconds. However, all three films are below for fans of the film.

Also, recently artist Drew Struzan whipped up a new poster graphic for this series, which can be seen left. A hundred signed copies of this poster were auctioned off to the general public and now an unsigned version is making its way to fans.
