Exclusive: Andrew Call (Space Cadet) is set for a recurring role on the upcoming Netflix drama series The Waterfront, written and executive produced by Kevin Williamson.

Inspired by true events, the 8-episode series dives into the flawed Buckley family, led by McCallany’s Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) and Mae Buckley (Maria Bello), as their attempts to retain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire drive them to increasingly dangerous means to keep themselves afloat.

Call will play Deputy Sawyer, a well-meaning cop who’s unaware of the dangers he’s about to get himself into.

The main cast also includes Jake Weary and Melissa Benoist as Cane Buckley and Bree Buckley, respectively. Topher Grace also recurs in the series.

Today, Prime Video revealed the first-look of Emma Roberts as Rex in the new Amazon Original movie ‘Space Cadet’, which has just wrapped production. Space Cadet will be an extremely fun, very light-hearted coming of age story

Lead actor Andy Karl injured his knee during a critics’ preview of the Broadway musical “Groundhog Day” Friday night, three days before a scheduled Monday opening that may now be postponed.
