After months of intense workouts, healthier diets and jaw-dropping transformations, the winner of "The Biggest Loser: Glory Days" was revealed on Thursday night. Season 16 of the hit NBC show featured former athletes who battled to lose unwanted pounds with the help of trainers Jessie Pavelka, Jennifer Widerstrom and Dolvett Quince. In a new twist, Bob Harper secretly trained eliminated contestants at Comeback Canyon. With just three finalists left -- Sonya Jones, Toma Dobrosavljevic and Rob Guiry -- the stakes were incredibly high. So, who took home the title of the "Biggest Loser" and the coveted $250,000 prize? Say congratulations to …Toma Dobrosavljevic! The winner, a 33-year-old senior project manager from Addison, Illinois, is literally half the man he used to be now. He started at 336 lbs. and dropped 171 lbs. during the show, ending up at 165 lbs. Fellow contestant Jones was close behind with a 144 lb. weight loss, while Guiry came in third -- going from 483 lbs.

After Rachel Frederickson’s controversial victory last season, the producers are giving themselves a second chance with The Biggest Loser: Glory Days. All 20 contestants this year are former athletes, which theoretically should mean their minds and bodies are better suited for the intense regime expected of this competition. These former champions already know what it takes to be a winner but also understand the concept of limits and discipline, something Frederickson was criticized for lacking. Though it gets a little annoying how many times the trainers say it, this does have the potential to be the best season yet.
