Deadline reports that showrunner Patrick Sean Smith confirmed Ghanimé’s exit from Virgin River in an earlier interview with the outlet, addressing Seasons 6 and 7 crucial questions. Mark Ghanimé is leaving Virgin River as a series regular. Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith confirmed the departure in a wide-raging interview with Deadline addressing Season 6 and 7 burning questions.

The news is not surprising. After Ghanimé’s character Cameron reconnected with his ex-fiancee in the Season 5 finale, he has barely been on the show, only making a couple of trips to Virgin River in Season 6 from San Diego where the two are trying to rebuild their relationship.

Cameron’s last scene in the Season 6 finale felt like a farewell when he declined a dance with former flame Muriel to head back home, promoting her to ask (for all of us), “So this is goodbye?”

But this may not be the last time we see Cameron on Virgin River.

Hallmark Mystery is going into full-time Miracles Of Christmas mode. The network has announced its 2024 schedule that includes nine holiday movies. Each movie will premiere on Thursday nights, with the exception of Thanksgiving week, when Christmas Under The Lights will premiere on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Netflix's first formal Upfronts presentation brought some exciting news for fans of the streaming service's most beloved shows.

Ginny & Georgia, which has been in limbo since January, has secured a pickup for two more seasons, keeping the show on the air through what will likely be the fourth -- and final -- season.

In an exclusive post-mortem interview in January, then-showrunner Debra J. Fisher teased that she and series creator Sarah Lampert had mapped out a four-season run for the show.

The renewal announcement's delay is shocking, especially considering the show has been a strong performer for Netflix.

However, the streaming service confirmed that Sarah Glinski (Degrassi: Next Class) will take over as showrunner from Fisher.

Netflix renewed the romantic drama for two additional seasons earlier this year, and one of them has already finished shooting.

Martin Henderson, who plays Jack, shared a photo on Instagram to reveal he was doing post-production work.

"Doing a little post production work on #virginriver season 4," he wrote, sharing the below photo.

"Making sure it’s all smooth and satisfying for the best fans Ever! Y’all have a lovely weekend wherever you find yourselves," he added.

The screen behind the actor confirms we'll be delving deeper into Jack's past, which has been plaguing him since the beginning of the series.

Netflix has been known to drop new seasons of shows earlier than anticipated. For example, there were just six months between Elite Season 2 and Elite Season 4.
