Nicholas enjoys filmmaking, eating delicious food, watching movies with loved ones, and writing biographies in the third person. He was born to Hungarian parents, and quickly immersed himself in the world of cinema with the guidance of his loving father, Örs, who introduced Nicholas to films like Star Wars, The Terminator series, and the adventures of James Bond. When Nicholas' father tragically and suddenly died in 1998, the loss fueled Nicholas to dive deeper into movies than ever before, where he soon discovered his calling as a filmmaker.

After receiving a full ride to the University of Southern California's prestigious film program, Nicholas produced his first independent feature film while continuing his studies. After a successful premiere, the film found distribution and began paving the road for Nicholas to establish relationships with many successful industry professionals.

In 2009, with USC, his first feature, and a further three years developing and sharpening his skills as a filmmaker now behind him, Nicholas wrote, produced, and directed his 2nd feature and first theatrically released film, "The Penitent Man," which was acclaimed for its structure and style, and won a Best Screenplay award during its festival run. "The Penitent Man" stars Lance Henriksen (Aliens, The Terminator) and Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), and is available on DVD and various digital platforms.

In 2012, Nicholas directed his 3rd feature, a dark comedy called "Matt's Chance," starring Edward Furlong (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man), Margot Kidder (Superman 1978), and Gary Busey (Lethal Weapon). After a successful festival tour that garnered critical acclaim and several awards for Best Picture, Acting, and Original Score, "Matt's Chance" enjoyed a limited theatrical run, and is now available on various VOD platforms.

In 2016 came Nicholas' 4th feature, an indie homage to 90s action movies called "Beta Test." Sporting an exciting cast of both rising stars and genre veterans including Manu Bennett (Arrow, Spartacus, The Hobbit Trilogy), Larenz Tate (Menace II Society, Crash, The Postman), and Linden Ashby (Mortal Kombat, Teen Wolf, Wyatt Earp), "Beta Test" also boasts one of the longest single-shot choreographed fight sequences in film history, and played in theaters nationwide before hitting DVD, Blu-Ray, and VOD.

2018 marked the culmination of Nicholas' time producing films in Seattle with the meta-drama "Ultra Low", which takes a hard look behind the scenes at the struggles of indie filmmaking. "Ultra Low" had a successful festival run, winning 10 Best Picture awards, and others for writing, directing, and acting before the film was released wide across digital platforms.

Now in Los Angeles, Nicholas has begun the next phase in his career after recently completing his biggest film to date, a star-studded supernatural thriller called "The Activated Man."

As "The Activated Man" enjoys a successful film festival run and prepares for its upcoming release, Nicholas is continuing to assemble a slate of projects with some of the most talented and successful people in the film industry by his side.

    • Quotes
When my father died I started watching movies more than I ever did before. I eventually came to the realization that if these movies could help me escape the pain of losing a father, maybe I could make new films to help others escape from problems far worse than my own.
